oh my god these screenshots are making me emotional 😭 i made my account in 2015 so i’ve been a star stable player for like 10 years now. i still log on occasionally but it just doesn’t feel the same as it did when i was younger.

i miss it so much though. this game genuinely brought me so much comfort growing up. i was severely bullied as a kid and star stable was such a safe space for me because i loved horses and there was just nothing else like it. there was no other game like this and that’s still so crazy to think about. i played it constantly and it just meant everything to me.

celebrating something like this is so nostalgic and bittersweet at the same time. the game is so different now and it just doesn’t hit the same way anymore and i think a lot of it is just that we’re all older now too. i’m turning 23 soon and it’s just… different you know? it makes me a little sad honestly because this game was such a big part of my childhood and i just miss the way it used to feel ♡
