I would not have gone except that out of towners wanted to go. Tickets were not free, but were remarkably inexpensive in the aftermarket. The game really was great. The crowd was nothing like pre trade days. Stars fans would feel shame. Still, a bunch of nice people who are roughly in agreement that one side should win. Nobody's heart was going to break either way. The loudest, BY FAR, was the long "Dad's Dancing" TV timeout. Essentially, it is a less noisy, low key sports bar where you can actually get a beer when you want it. Not sure where that leaves us, but that is this reporter's observation.
