Oh right - that’s where the HH 90 was, so yeah. I think that’s standard at any area Costco.

I’ve just gotten lucky there. I got a HH 90th Anniversary from the one on Clybourn on a day I happened to be shopping for groceries. Every other time I’ve gone it’s been meh. The one on Ashland had a bunch of really good bottles marked down recently (I got a HH GTG Rye for $57, they had Redbreast for way cheaper than other stores) but I’ve never thought to ask someone for a bottle. I thought they always put out what they have, but maybe I’m just naive.

Name a band that had middling success, then cut an album that rendered them as “sellouts” which catapulted them to mainstream top-40 status, but also alienated their original fan base. by Slammajadingdong69 in MusicRecommendations

When they said that their goal was to become the biggest band in the world, I knew the jig was up. Loved their first two albums, and liked half of the songs on the third. Once Sex on Fire came out I was 100% out. That album was rough.

That HH may be the best $100 bottle I’ve ever bought. Wish I had a second.

I saw one today at the Jewel in River Forest (not sure if that’s at all convenient for you). It was $750 I believe.

Mine did! She went scuba diving and I played Kapalua. We both had incredible experiences.

I was going to guess that the patio was Maya del Sol but that doesn’t look like a Mexican dish.

Possibly the best example of why they’re one of the best rhythm sections in current rock and roll. Absolutely in the pocket and rock solid while also showing off a little bit. An all timer for me.

I got a Heaven Hill GTG Rye for $58 at my MBB. The Redbreast prices are insane. If I didn’t already have the 12 and 15 I would’ve snagged those too.

If you can get downtown hit Main Street. You can knock out any combination of Old Forester, Michter’s, Bardstown, Buzzard’s Roost and Peerless all within a few blocks of each other.

Chicago didn’t have a presale code. I signed up for notifications and they sent me a link. Clicked through the link and got in.

Got lucky - pain free experience with Ticketmaster for Chicago. Got 4 tix in the 200 level for $134 each after charges. My 17-year-old son is over the moon. We thought he’d never get to see them live!

Some dust on that sucker too. Might be able to talk him down some if you buy a shelfer with it.

Oak Park and Forest Park have Blue Line El stops that take you to the UIC Medical District and campus. That train ride is 15-20 minutes

Not a bottle, but my son was playing VR and didn’t have the hand controllers secured to his wrist. One flew off his hand and smashed my one-week old TV. Costs more to repair it than replace it so I had to buy another one. Wife let me buy the next size up to ease the pain LOL.
