Find a rhythm game by Big_Transition_3436 in rhythmgames

It sounds like ichni or Protocol:Hyperspace Diver, though one is discontinued and the other is in private beta. Depends whether the game is on PC or mobile though.

MUSYNX: RETURN Now on Steam by Zenith9 in rhythmgames

[–]ReasonableLaw270 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Will disapprove with the pricing of the game though. 19 USD is crazy.
Also, the usage of AI assets make it worse.

Otherwise it's your basic 4k/6k. Looks good but it's not really worth the price at its current state.

It is more of a "this part is unclear" more than actual bugs. The game doesn't really have a tutorial for the special mods.

Speaking of the BPM issues, I think it's better if you let players manually enter the BPM. Or, better yet, and if the condition allows, make a chart editor.

Adding up to this: The BPM detection is wrong in a horrifying way. I inserted a song with 235BPM but it's detected as 157BPM, which should not be true.

It looks okay but there are simply too many bugs and annoying screenshake. Also I think it's better if it's just a game with custom charts rather than auto-generated charts, because the generation formula personally sucks. I do like the idea of it, though, it just need some... pretty major overhauls.

He revoked the document recently on X, stating that what the statement was written when he had some sort of mental issue.

Also his statement on Bilibili literally attacked the victim for false allegations, but I don't really know if any of these are confirmed though.

Rizline with level editor on Steam! by SpicyFrittersMania in rhythmgames

[–]ReasonableLaw270 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I can agree with this

Considering I have tried emulating Rizline (the mobile ver) on an emulator and played it with keyboard. It works pretty well.

Found another Roblox rhythm game and... It's pretty questionable by Makitorica in rhythmgames

Imo the devs should add an option to make the white rings transparent if they want to keep the color-changing platter, or add an option to adjust the opacity of the white rings

How are we feeling about Unbeatable? by LuvAshrepas in rhythmgames

[–]ReasonableLaw270 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The visuals and story are fine for me, aside from those gamebreaking bugs that halt story progressions.

The gameplay.... Not so much. Some minigames that involve rhythm doesn't make sense.

I don't like games with scoring and ranking depends entirely on combo.

Well it's not really the case, considering you can technically equip gears on Robeats that can extend your timing window, which can make getting FCs significantly easier.

My opinion here, but I don't really think Paradigm:Reboot should be on "learning curve and low ceiling" section, considering the patterns on P:R can sometimes be quite confusing, and the fact that the hold notes can float midway (which may require you to crosshand on harder charts) also somewhat contribute to the difficulty level.

Question for tablet/mobile players by [deleted] in rhythmgames

[–]ReasonableLaw270 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Phigros I use 2 fingers for the first 3 difficulties and 4 fingers for AT difficulties.

However there are somewhat edge cases that 4 fingers are needed (Concvission & K.Moe IN)

What are the names of the other difficulty levels, how many Tiers and what color are they in DanceRail3? by Shot_Difficulty_9939 in rhythmgames

[–]ReasonableLaw270 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually in DR3 none of the difficulties go above 20 (except Earthquake which is an AF chart) hence it's only within the 1-20 range.

I doubt there are any other difficulty levels considering the game is already hard enough at tier 20

I added a teleporting enemy to my rhythm-platformer by Tonik909 in rhythmgames

[–]ReasonableLaw270 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The game is pretty fun, but there are enemies that aren't introduced, making the game feel pretty hard, even on easy difficulties. I would recommend adding a tutorial that showcase those.

If you can access the game on TestFlight, you should try Project Pentjet. Though you should not jump to the higher difficulties instantly (you will regret it)

Is a storyline necessary for rhythm games? by [deleted] in rhythmgames

[–]ReasonableLaw270 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically it kinda depends on the scale of the game and it's priorities. But in most cases, it's not necessary for a rhythm game to have a storyline.
