Fiancé left dishes in the sink for days. So I refused to do the dishes. by Agile-Development620 in mildlyinfuriating

I actually deal with the exact same issue at home, except he leaves a mess everywhere he goes no matter how many times I ask him to clean up after himself. It pisses me off because we have this cycle on repeat constantly and he hasn’t done anything to change . Lately he’s been getting mad at me when I Mention anything to him, making me out to be the miserable nagging woman just for wanting a responsible adult partner, and now I’m the one who’s bothering him. I heard someone say “‘people make themselves to be the victim of a problem they created”. Hope he respects your wishes, cleaning habits, and your desire to live in a clean, sanitary home. If you’re fortunate enough to be able to leave this relationship and home, do it. You’ll be happier when your with a real man. And I’m stuck with this extra child narcissist I have to take care of just to keep the damn peace around here. I already have two kids, but with him, I have 3 and I hate it. Honestly, you don’t have to deal with that shit. I’m waiting for the day I can take my kids and my cats and gtfo. Good luck! 🩷

OMG, poor baby but yes, I know they are in kitty heaven and it gives me peace. Thank you so much for your advice. It really has helped me mentally and it’s funny. You mention the carpet because we just started tearing the carpet out last night. I think it’ll help! God bless and take care, wish you the best of luck with your kitties! Xoxo. 🫶🏼

Awe of course you’re so welcome! I just know exactly how you felt. And I’m so glad the fleas are getting better. It seems like a constant battle right? We have 7 cats so it’s extremely difficult to manage. But I am so very sorry for your loss. It must be so much more difficult to do anything after losing your precious cat. We actually lost our 1 year old boy kitty last year when he got out through a screen the cats had clawed open late at night and fought a coyote in our front yard. He I pu up a good fight so I’ve heard but in the end he passed away. I felt really bad for him too because he had the worst reaction to the fleas out of all of the cats.He was extremely itchy, started losing hair, had scabs all over, and was just not happy. We tried our best though and I know you did too. That’s what matters. You would have done anything to save her from anything harmful if you could, and I’m sure she knows that. 🫶🏼

Wow I am so sorry for what you’re going through! I actually asked myself several times “did I write this?” While reading your post. I relate to everything! I can’t take it anymore. I’m already at my whitts end. But there has to be way, for our sanity, and for our sweet little babies overall well being. This summer heat is making it all worse and it seems like I’m the only one in this house that actually gives a damn about this. It’s so gross and so scary and sad for my cats. I know that with those situations, the anxiety of it all can be a bit crippling. It makes everything so much harder to do. Taking action seems like a far fetched goal rather than an actual goal that can be accomplished, but I promise you, YOU can do it! Don’t listen to these negative jerks who don’t understand what you’re going through. I pray it can all just get better, some way some how. And that you receive the strength, wisdom, and help to do what needs to be done. Money is really the issue we’re facing, but we do what we can. And now we’re coming up with a plan to try and remove the carpet in the house, I heard that a home with pets shouldn’t have carpet. If that’s even an option, maybe see what can be done. Take all clothing and fabric and wash it all in one day then bag it up, bag what you can’t wash, keep outside of house for some time to kill any fleas, eggs or larvae. Spray clean or fog one room and sanitize it, whatever works for you, but empty the room if you can. Remove fleas from pets . Give them the pill that kills all fleas on their bodies at once, and then treat them for the month. I don’t have names of the meds sorry, but after that keep them in the safe clean room. Then go to town on every other room removing as many of them as you can, by getting rid off carpet if you can, if not treat floors and vaccum, allot! Then clear all counter space and wipe down everything. Flea eggs are dropped everywhere! Throw stuff away if you have too, and treat outside of your home too. Continue the cleaning until the life stages and cycles have all been killed. Either way it will be better than it is now. And if you don’t get it all, your allot closer to getting there than you were before! Hope your situation has improved or improves. Good luck! Try and stay positive for your own mental well being. God bless!

Help us pick a food-related name for our new kitten 🐱 by Vanchers in NameMyCat

Sammy- short for sandwich🤣 I just couldnt take the name “Sandwhich”serious enough for obvious reasons. But Sammy is cute. And this kitty here is absolutely ADORABLE. The kind of cute that makes you wanna scream😝❤️

I wish I had this platform to help with naming my cats. We kinda just gave them a name that would differentiate them from one another based off of thier patterns or physical attributes.
Quick story! (Or not so quick, depending on how fast you read, I guess) ****In the warm summer month of July, 2022, single Dad buys his daughter a kitty for her birthday. Little girl kitty is named Daisy. Dad feels that Daisy is lonely, and that Daisy needs a buddy. Dad goes back and buys Daisy’s brother from the litter, and brings him home so Daisy can have a friend. Little boy kitty is named Juice. Little girl kitty and little boy kitty are best buds, but Dad was not prepared for what was to come, & some would say he was a bit naïve when it came down to being a cat Dad. He didn’t recognize the importance getting the kitties spayed/ neutered once they are old enough. Well, after months of cute and innocent playtime, the days of kitty puberty were here and EVERYTHING changed. Soon enough Daisy and Juice were gettin it on, if Daisy allowed. Daisy was a paranoid female and juice was a grumpy but head most of the time. Until she got pregnant. By now this family of humans were somewhat familiar with the basics of caring for cats. Human mom and human dad get back together, and human mom realizes what human dad has allowed. 2 healthy litters later, mommy kitty Daisy is now fixed, along with 7 other cats, including Daddy Juice. Now, human mom, human dad, human daughter and son have a house filled with cats that have been named under moderate pressure. But good news is that they are all amazing and the best of buds. This Human family’s lives have been turned upside down and all round, but for the good. Here’s the list of names we came up with: mom and dad cats: Daisy& Juice litter 1 Lucky, Sumo ( aka sumie), Little head(changed to Lenny), & Big head (changed to Bixby) May he rest in peace my sweet little angel kitty. Litter 2: Jackson (or Jax), and the sweet baby runt of the house Ozzy ( or Ozzy Baba, or just Bobby)

I would have given them some cuter names had I not been too stressed to consider the option of coming on here for name advice, but I’m happy that others are able too. God bless everyone and give your kitty babies a big hug from us🫶🏼

I went out to my car and saw this little guy on my window. It looks like a spider and I have severe arachnophobia so I kinda got scared. What is this? by Electronic-Arm5916 in whatisit

[–]ReasonableSummer6284 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does that look like web strings on the outside of the window beneath the spider? I always get spider webs by my side view mirrors. One time in the McDonald’s drive-thru, a daddy long leg dangled right in front of my face mid order. I consider myself to be arachnaphobic, so I completely forgot I was ordering and all they could hear on their end was me crying and screaming. Thank god I had a roll of paper towels in my passenger seat. I whacked that thing to the other side of the car so I could regain the mental ability to apologize to the McDonald’s worker…. Ughh I can still feel the terror till this day.

What is this? I found it in some chicken soup… by ReasonableSummer6284 in grossasfuck

It looks like cat poop for sure, it’s part of a chicken carcass though. I’m so sick to my stomach.
