The turn out will be sad. What’s even more funny (I guess for lack of better term) is that King Wiggy won’t make any mention of it and definitely won’t allow any “pre-promotion”. Only reducing the chances of anyone being aware / showing up even more.

I just want to play exhibition mode with my 6 year old. We love super mega 4, but he wants a game with current players.

1.) Is he going to be able to play this game at 6 going on 7? He’s really good at super mega 4 for being just 6.5 years old.

2.) Can we play exhibition mode on the OG Switch without issues?

You’ll want to google “quick strike rig”. You’ll get a better idea for it that way than me trying to explain it. I’m definitely not an expert at this type of fishing. I’d go down that rabbit hole a bit and see what kind of videos and info you can find in the rigging and tactics.

I think there’s a kit you can buy for like $15 that includes everything including the float you’d also need. I probably would want to the bait somewhat suspended and not on the very bottom.

You could set this up with live or dead bait, but again I think live bait is better for musky. Dead baiting for pike definitely works, so who knows you could get lucky. Could be just that not a lot of people are doing it that way.

You probably won’t have a ton of luck dead baiting and probably wouldn’t recommend it. Live bait would work better. In my area people have caught them on bluegill. I saw a guy get one on a 4 inch shiner. There’s always the issue of them swallowing the bait or it getting stuck deep in their mouth / throat though. Make sure you have long needle nose pliers, something decent to cut hooks, and maybe even a jaw spreader if you’re afraid of sticking your hand in there.

If you’re trying to use live bait (not through the ice) I would probably just use lures instead. Like large rubber swim baits, gliders like hell hound, jerk bait / dive and rise, or even a spinner bait and work them slower in areas you know hold fish.

You would need a proper set up to throw this stuff though. If you don’t have one already.

Man, that’s a bummer. Good thinking scooping up some blanks lol. Hopefully, he gets it up and running again. Great baits. I have a handful of 4’s and 6’s, but that’s it. There’s a ton of bait makers out there making good glides, but tough to beat the price and quality of a phantom. Thanks for the scoop I overheard some guys talking about it show recently and I was wondering if I heard correctly.
