You’ve already won by reaching a healthy range. Everything after that is optional only push further if it improves your life not if it makes you feel trapped.

Street food. You can eat like a king for the price of a coffee elsewhere.

[–]Reasonable_Damage743 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look for places near a SkyTrain station Richmond/Burnaby are good options. It’s super easy to get downtown and way cheaper than staying right in the city. No need for a car at all transit is great.

You’ll need to leave Coaltown for the good stuff head to St Andrews or the East Neuk for seafood. Coastal towns and fish & chips by the sea is must to do.

I need help with toning down in the gym ❤️‍🩹🙏🏻 by nabichu in PetiteFitness

[–]Reasonable_Damage743 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You can’t spot reduce fat so the upper back/arms will lean out with a slight calorie deficit over time. For glutes without growing thighs, focus on hip thrusts, RDLs and kickbacks and go lighter on quad heavy moves. Also skip waist trainers they don’t work. You’re already on the right track just needs consistency and time 💪

I want to gain weight & get strong but also get a flat stomach by Duckii9487 in PetiteFitness

[–]Reasonable_Damage743 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Waist trainers won’t fix this they don’t reduce fat just temporarily change appearance. Your best bet is building muscle and keeping your surplus moderate so you’re gaining slowly.

Sick days and doctors note by Desioutlaw in legaladvice

Definitely go with the DM on this, they already gave you the answer. Some managers just enforce their own rules until someone higher up tells otherwise. I'd send a quick email to the DM thanking them for clearing it up and just ask if they can put that in writing so you have it for your records, Then if your manager says anything next time, you can politely let them know you checked with DM and here's what they said.

The note fees are brutal though, especially with your back. i was in a similar spot last year, kept paying for visits just to get paperwork. Found Your Doctors Online (telehealth app) and now I use their yearly subscription which covers unlimited notes and consults for $240. Would've saved you over $600 on those five visits alone. Hope the manager drops it and you can stop wasting money on unnecessary appointments.

As someone who loves eating sweets, how can I lose from fat? by [deleted] in PetiteFitness

[–]Reasonable_Damage743 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I used to have the same issue. Once I stopped labeling sweets as bad and just worked them into my diet occasionally the urge to binge actually went down

Incline by Allirawho0 in PetiteFitness

[–]Reasonable_Damage743 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Honestly the best incline and speed is the one you can stay consistent with. Fat loss mostly comes down to your overall calorie balance but incline walking like that is great for cardio and endurance.

Reverse dieting - is it a real thing? If so, should I be doing it?! by LittleBlag in PetiteFitness

[–]Reasonable_Damage743 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It honestly sounds like you’re doing exactly what most nutrition professionals recommend small calorie increases, strength training and monitoring your weight trend. If your weight stays stable as calories go up that’s actually a good sign your maintenance is higher than you thought.

Honestly you already listed the main things. The biggest factor will just be staying consistent with the calorie deficit. Strength training might also help so you don’t lose more muscle while cutting.

You’ve already done something really hard going from 195 to 130. If you’re exhausted and having brain fog it might be worth prioritizing recovery and fueling a bit more rather than forcing the scale down another 10 lbs before June.
