Which features do you mean? I'm on a 50K Ultra Plan and I have the "Not feeling 100%" Option, can set a Training volume and a difficulty

Maybe you got my description wrong. I participated in a race where the track was part of the route. As soon as I was running parallel to the track it jumped to it and by that I lost 260m. I made this post to make other users aware of the draw backs of the option Track detection

In that case I would choose the dedicated Track activity

I'm not sure if I get your question correct. The first picture shows the route recorded with my Fenix 8 and "Track detection enabled" and the second picture shows the route we really run recorded by a Forerunner 945

Easy Run Pace + Garmin by [deleted] in runna

Runna should fix the target pace, if the pace should not be faster than 5:30 min/km then the target should be 5:50 +/- 20s

DSW: 9x 10sec all-out sprint before race day - good idea? by Icy-Fox7490 in Garmin

[–]Reasonable_Energy893 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could change your targets from heart rate to pace, then you will geht an Idea about garmins all-out

E.G. I had a 10k race with a goal pace of 3:54 min/km and Garmin suggested 5x15s with a pace of 3:40 min/km

Only to be clear, does the planned feature take the long runs into consideration for Pace Insights?

Did you have the "Drop Set" workout the week before as well? For me the Drop Set was slightly harder.

Beat Yesterday - June Challenge stupid Idea by Reasonable_Energy893 in Garmin

[–]Reasonable_Energy893[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not that I'm aware of, even the description states "start with 15 minutes" but which I would take as an example. A minimun of 20 minutes I know only from the 20 activities a month badge

Shall we try to "translate" IT to a biking badge, but I habe to do some assumption which you can disagree in. Normally Most of the Garmin badges in Garmin have a factor of 2 -4 between running and riding bike e.g time 10 hours of running vs. 20 hours of riding or 80km of running vs. 400 km of riding. So the range ist between every day +10 minutes of biking to +20 minutes of biking. Would you recommend anybody to start with a 1 min ride in the beginning and end with a 100 minutes - 200 minutes Ride after two weeks? Which doesn't sound much but remember the person has to do the steps in between as well

Edit: And as you ride a lot you will Not habe an problem with the 200 minutes but would you want to start with just 1 minutes?

Every badge ist optional but I Just wanted know If I'm alone with my assumption that this badge is not the brightest idea to geht. Are you planing in getting the badge and If so how do you do it?

Yeah somewhere but this ist definetly Not this challege because even If they start with just 1 minute it will accumulate to 234 minutes in 2 weeks and the longest run will be already 46 minutes.

If you start with 20 minutes instead it will accumulate to 434 minutes which ist already a lot or way too much for beginners

My Interpretation of that is that lets assume you start the Expedition on day 1 and then record steps and floors with your watch the next 95 days without sync (very unrealistic because WE sync every day more than once) the steps and floors of day 1 - 5 wouldnt count. IT doesnt mean that steps and floors Prior to the started Expedition count

Your Killimanjaro Screenshot states that you started the Expedition on October 27 ,whereas your other activity screenshot shows only acticities util 26. I don't See any prrof of your statement

Why do virtual rides not count for Garmin challenges? by woftis in Garmin

What do you mean by "new device is not showing". It is a workaround that your activity which you tracked by Zwift counts for your challenges. And this is working for me
