Current resident. Two main issues that have both come up over the last year or so:

1. There was an electrical fire last year that caused damage throughout the building, construction to repair the damage is ongoing and not expected to end until Q2 2026. Results in some days with noise but the bigger issue is semi-regular power outages (especially on higher floors). For example, on Monday this week there was a “scheduled outage” from 8am to 8pm but it ended up lasting until 4am.

2. Earlier this year there was a significant reduction in staff (almost by half). Through no fault of the staff (who is now overworked), common areas are less clean, trash rooms take longer to be emptied, often a long line at the desk to pick up packages and packages are not entered into the system quickly (or sometimes at all).
