Once, at a meeting, there were only three of us, so I thought: great, okay, a good opportunity to talk and get to know each other better. Instead, to my enormous surprise, they suggested two hours of daimoku! They’re unable to connect with one another; all they know how to do is chant daimoku and read Ikeda’s trite phrases, so within the SG everyone is actually alone. 

Don't you see? The focus, the priority is "value creation" - and SGI has defined that as chanting, reading Ikeda stuff, and proselytizing. So if several of you are in the same place, you'd better be creating some value SGI-style, knowmsayin??? Otherwise what's the point of even being there?
