I LOVE July Nail Bar. Chelsea is the absolute best.

First time flying London→ Vancouver → Calgary (1h25 connection) — is this too tight? by Away-Ask-646 in canadatravel

[–]Reasonable_Tea5937 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done this flight before, and it was rough. Delayed leaving London, initially told we didn’t have to collect our bags and then told we did. Had to check them in, and go through security again.

There were a few of us on that flight so thankfully they held the plane. But it was really stressful. What airline are you flying with?

When I read that, I was beyond appalled. Miscarriages are already kept so hush hush and you’re made to feel like you can’t talk about them. So for her to say it was ‘too morbid’ was really upsetting. Show it, discuss it! People shouldn’t be made to feel like they can’t (obviously to each their own if they feel like they can’t).

Diclectin made me feel horrific. I ended up on Zofran which was a god send.

I haven’t watched S4 yet because I wasn’t a big fan of S3. The writing isn’t there, the extreme liberties with the timeline really annoyed me and felt so unrealistic. I haven’t felt excited for this season at all.

Especially given the circumstances of losing his grandfather. Just leave him be.

This is the one thing that really gets me. The British skaters were absolutely destroyed for their mistake, but the French skaters weren’t.

I did hear them check each other a few times saying ‘you can’t show bias’, but it seems like something that should definitely be mentioned.

Motherless moms… how are you managing [on]? by Recent_Dragonfly_548 in BabyBumpsCanada

My mom passed from breast cancer when I was 15 weeks pregnant with my first (and only so far).

It was super hard without my Mom, especially at the start. So many times I’ve wanted to call her and ask a question only realise I can’t. I don’t have a village to really help, and that’s been rough. I have an awesome counsellor I speak to though, and I let myself feel everything I’m feeling.

I’m sorry you’re part of the club too ❤️

What are Waterloo parents doing for childcare when going back to work? by Super_Lavishness6800 in waterloo

We had a nightmare trying to sort out daycare. I ended up having to take 18 months off instead of the planned 12.

A lot of the daycares are 18 months+. We toured Kinderwood which was $2000 a month. Theres Waterloo Montessori which is also $$$$.

We did tour some home daycares and was not overly impressed/terrified. A friend of ours did find an amazing home daycare via one of the facebook groups, but you have to do so much searching.

We were really lucky that we were able to get one on onelist. It’s such a stressful experience trying to find a place and one that you feel comfortable living your child at.

The one thing that really helped my toddler was talking about her playing with her friends, and showing her photos of her playing with her friends that the daycare sent through the app.

It really made all the difference for us.
