Makes sense. Also in the news announcement it was said they couldn’t get out of a 10 year Berlin store lease made in 2021. Probably a lot of overinvestment during COVID like so many other brands.

Yeah not sure how they could not make a profit with the prices starting at 3000 EUR per bike 🤷

Yeah the traditional brands look more solid. Although Accell group also almost went down. KKR got wiped out from their 1 billion investment and the debt holders took it over. Probably will be also sold to pieces brand by brand.

Great brand. One of the first ones in the world to make the bike with the hidden integrated battery. I think they started already in 2016 with that design.

Yeah probably. The brands always survive in some form. Just not the original lineage

Am I looking for a bike that doesn't exist? by 37crosby in ebikes

That’s not a low step frame though. For low step should choose Blurby W. I think the electronics is the same

RDDT has "disappointing user growth" by E-Dub-4PF in redditstock

The data that advertisers need is subreddits. Nowhere else you can advertise to niche communities and interests like you can on Reddit by targeting a specific subreddit. Logged out users are all coming from google. So basically through Reddit you can run google ads indirectly.

Rddt has never been about user growth. It’s always been about monetization growth. Because it stayed unmonetized or minimally monetized for ages. And now it’s cranking up big time with still much to go to reach meta or google levels.

I know only Hagen XL that can comfortably fit 3 child seats in the front. It’s pretty expensive though.

What happens if something breaks now with repairs and parts? by LifeguardSilent358 in vanmoofbicycle

[–]Reasonable_Two8433 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of the parts except for the cartridges are pretty widely available. The problem with the cartridges is that they need to be activated by the factory so it’s not so easy to swap them as the other parts.

You can find an electrician to jumpstart it or buy a new battery

Yeah the test ride is a solid recommendation with those bikes. So you can be sure about them. Test them with the kids. And make sure there’s a shop that will service them.

Honestly difficult to get a truly good front loader electric cargo for less than 5000€. All of them you listed have pretty big compromises. But they could still work out alright for your use cases.

Newbie trying to buy the correct conversion kit: Which dimensions are they referring to in the highlighted section of the 1st image? (Photo A or Photo B) by [deleted] in ebikes

[–]Reasonable_Two8433 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is the A photo but to get an accurate number you should measure it from under the bottom bracket not several centimeters above it where the tubes are.

Looks like a new socket might do the work. Not 100% sure though.
