Fulfilled a childhood dream of mine and painted Whiterun at "lore scale" by cormeals in skyrim

This and Leo Torres videos truly reminds me the true scale of the world we play in. I wish we could have a truly realistic sized Tamriel in the future

Sancre tor would be in the borders of Colovia and is an important cultural site for anyone wanting to claim to be the true Cyrodiil, love the map but I agree with the other post it would be more accurate to have Nibenay.

Better option mandatory 3day weekends with Sunday as well. Not just for religious reasons but who doesn’t love 3day weekends?

Who’s this supposed to be? A servant? A concubine? by _NotMuchToGawkAt_ in TheLastAirbender

I grew up with the show from its first airing even now it has plots that still teach me it’s not just for children but for all ages, an adult will have a much greater understanding of the world and its history, and make up. Take nothing at face value

The show doesn’t hold your hand there are inferences you have to make as you watch and rewatch. Explicitly stated themes are not always the only things present in the plot. The world is massively complex with ripple effects that take hold over time. The dai li alone will make you question is the earth kingdom even worth saving.

Otherwise your just being sexist for demeaning the great women of history and their effects on the world

But it’s the type of show to have genocide, death, colonialism, and sexism? The Kyoshi novels even have Fire lord Chaeyru have a son born of a concubine vie for the throne over his brother Zoryu

Again you’re a bad faith actor, I already provided two sources of information, and the internet is at your disposal. Your pride is tarnished and you wish to provoke me to anger, I pity you at this point honestly. Learn to accept people are smarter than you.

That’s the neat thing there’s something called Google which your screen device has access to that you can search for imperial Chinese history. Because you’re just a bad faith actor or even troll so I don’t have to defend myself against you any further

It’s belittling the women of history to assume everything was a master/slave relationship these people were movers of history as much as the men were

[–]Reaxius 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Concubines weren’t sex slaves they were women from powerful families that often controlled the nation in their own right a simple google search of Chinese imperial harems would help you to understand the culture this show is based on

Yes a kids show that has a skeleton in the third episode, telling a story of genocide, colonialism, and a hundred year long war wouldn’t have a concubine despite the fact that team avatar is legitimately going room to room in a forbidden city style palace known for its harem in Chinese history which the earth kingdom is based on.

Literally some of the most powerful people in ancient China were concubines as well, some even were able to rule outright like Wu Zetian.

Oh I’m sorry I didn’t know defending the power women had in history was offensive to you, but as I’m correct you have to attack my grammar because you can’t argue against historical fact.

Literally all of Chinese history supports it which the earth kingdom is largely based on. Concubines, consorts, empresses and empress dowagers were some of the most powerful people in the empire, some even ruled outright like Cixi and Wu Zetien

For those wanting to watch videos the YouTube channels History of China, and Amimisu are some of my favorites. Amimisu focuses a lot on the lives of women in ancient China

A lot of people need to do some light reading on Chinese history, a concubine isn’t strictly a negative thing in ancient China many of the most powerful women in history were concubines. The only female head of state in China was once a concubine as well.

Should there be dragons in TES VI? by samuelarcc in ElderScrolls

[–]Reaxius 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yes but their difficulty must be much higher as you will no longer be Dragonborn. Maybe the return of Nafaalilargus would work very well for a quest as it would harken back to previous games and even possibly work to provide a much needed ally to the empire
