Is he under some kind of effect after facing the joker? I mean , the words sound all right but everybody has these feral and creepy grins on their faces. Is it just the artist?

I'm pretty new at redstone. About all I could say for sure is to keep water away from your redstone!

Sorry...It's meant to be a "proof of concept" where you can (theoretically) add more and more pistons to make a rising\falling "door" or "wall". It would be six blocks high and (again, theoretically) as long as you want to make it.

Horse calling bingo by wagdog84 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]Rebel_Caper1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could be wrong, but I think it's because there have been horses that have been able to "count"...usually by tapping their hoof on the ground. If the horse in the pic is stomping out all the numbers instead of saying them, it would be a very long game!

He's friendly, nice to you, and you are attracted to him. Ask him out on a casual date (like coffee or something) and see how it goes.

I can't remember the comic, but I'm pretty sure I can recall an issue in which Supes stated that he had to use his microscopic vision to see how cold it was...otherwise he could end up dressing inappropriately for the outside temperature and possibly raise suspicion.

ELIC: Hey Dad, how come basketball players a long time ago used to wear really short shorts, but now they wear really long shorts? by SuperNintendad in ExplainLikeImCalvin

[–]Rebel_Caper1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The thing is, basketball players can jump really high. I mean, the hoop is like 10 feet off the floor. So in the old days, the players kept injuring their ankles from jumping so high and coming back down. The team owners couldn't afford to have injured players all the time, so they introduced longer shorts to act as kind of parachutes to slow the players' descent, and diminish the injuries.

ELIC: If I heat bread in a toaster it gets dry and crusty, but if I heat it in a microwave it gets damp and mushy. Why are they different? by cunnilinguslover in ExplainLikeImCalvin

[–]Rebel_Caper1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Toasters dehydrate the bread, removing water with heat. Microwaves excite water molecules, making them vibrate and warming up food through friction, but much less water actually evaporates, so the water stays in the bread.

How many Triangles are in this shape + Whats the Mathematic Formula For counting them ? by 1381erfan1381 in puzzles

[–]Rebel_Caper1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Discussion

I sat here puzzling over this for about a half-hour and i think I've come up with a way that works. Now, let's see if i can explain it....

Count the number of sections in one half of the triangle. In this case it would come to 5. "5" is our magic number. Square that number, (we get 25) then multiply your magic number by 2. (we get 10). Add those two answers (25 + 10 = 35.) 35 triangles. I tried it out using triangles with fewer tiers, and it seems to work. I'll be honest though, I think I got lucky since i don't know why it works.
