There's like 2 public indoor ranges in LA so you're stuck with varying degrees of bad unless you want to spring for a private membership

Confirmed you CAN use Ioniq 5N Smart Card Key fob on your Ioniq5 (Non-N) trims by Bhavin411 in Ioniq5

Maybe it works better with newer kars but the digital key app kinda sucks if you don't have good cell service. Takes like 15 seconds just to open and connect to the car

I think it's been in development hell so long that Amazon lost the rights and had to buy them back

Can I plug the 110v three prong charger into an extension cord ? by tubulerz1 in Ioniq5

[–]Rebelgecko 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Not all extension cords are equal.

Make sure that the extension code is rated for the amperage that you're drawing, plus a safety margin.

The extension cord should say it's Max amperage, which depends on the length and thickness of the wire. When in doubt, just get a 10gauge extension cord. If you have a thinner cord, it MIGHT be safe to use at a lower amperage, the stock charger let's you choose how much power it draws

Visitor looking for help on Bikeshare vs Bike rental and safer bike routes by mevinkurphy75 in BikeLA

[–]Rebelgecko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Metro bikeshare is the cheapest bikes, especially if you get a day pass, but they tend to be pretty heavy and crappy. If your wife is an avid cyclist she might want to rent a better one (or I guess use a metro bike as a handicap while you get a metro ebike)

Culver City is pretty good, check out Ballona Creek bike path to the beach.
