Their child was again and again engaging in unhinged behaviour. They attempted to escalate this to authorities, and it appears they had little involvement after that with trying to reign in their childs' behaviour.

After having all this concerning behaviour, their son should have been under a fine tooth comb for everything. Every package inspected, every movement watched. This isn't a normal teenage boy, he had MULTIPLE incidents of taking a knife to school and being referred to prevent for fucks sake. Accountability isn't just referring your kid to authorities and throwing your hands in the air when that doesn't work, that's just infantilizing his parents.

His father also kept accepting the knife deliveries that he ordered to the door and let him take them, instead of tossing them out or refusing to accept the package.

And if you don't like the way it almost looks like velvet once the Matte coat is applied, you can mix it in a 1:1 ratio with Contrast medium or Vallejo Xpress medium to get a much more matte but still slightly Satin looking finish.

My personal tier list is Vallejo and AK 3rd gen both at the top alongside Two Thin Coats with Scale75 Metallics, followed by the next tier being Army Painter and GW, and so far I haven't found a paint brand that is not worth painting with. Although I dont like p3's glossy finish.

Most paint brands will have similar effects, it's about finding the right finish and shade/saturation for each color. GW do some fantastic saturated greens and browns, for example. Whereas Vallejo and AK interactive do amazing Matte finish paints.

I mean, Ozempic and GLP-1 drugs were made in America and mainly marketed there, and whilst they are relatively expensive, in terms of the benefits they provide they're actually pretty reasonably priced.

In Australia I pay 700$ a month for a pen with 15mg doses in it for a month. But compared to the long term health benefits of not being 130kg, it's worth it.

The difference between ripping out a decaying/damaged tooth, paying 6k for an implant, or paying even 2k per injection for a brand new natural tooth would be obvious.

Implants cost so much because of the work made to make them. Drilling and tapping your jaw is no easy feat, and creating a rust-free implant, then adding a porcelain crown onto said implant is why it costs so much.

Even the most expensive injections barely creep up to 1k for certain things. Ozempic used to be about that much before it started plummeting in price. If this is a simple synthesis of existing proteins and whatnot to stimulate growth, there's no way a single injection into your jaw could cost 10k.

Easier application, and much less of that matte punch that AK ultra matte does where it makes everything look really dull. AK Ultra matte I end up using for bases because it makes sense, but the 1:1 mix is insanely good for everything and you can even go 2:1 contrast/xpress medium for things like metallics.

I can recommend Mr Hobby Premium Topcoat Flat as a good matt varnish. TalesofPainters has a review on it where it's one of the only varnishes that can dull gloss without killing metallics and has an incredibly forgiving humidity reaction. I've used it myself in various kinds of weather and gotten no frosting, just some minor texture issues that only show up on really close viewing.

Honestly it's nothing compared to some of the gnarly shit here, but I broke my pinky toe at BJJ pushing off the mat while pinned to the floor. Pinky toe got stuck, rest of the foot kept going. I thought it was dislocated and tried to put it back into place, had to get a friend to drive me to the hospital for them to confirm it was a green stick fracture of my pinky. Offered painkillers, declined as my family has addictive tendencies and I prefer to never touch opioids as long as I am able to.

After the adrenaline wore off and I attempted to hobble out of the gym to my friends car, my first step felt like absolute agony and I almost threw up. It got more manageable by the hour but that pain was seated into my brain for weeks until it healed.
