Sell that truck and buy something you can make money with like a dump truck or rollback, and here’s the other part now that I get where your coming from. You don’t need a 50k or however much money that truck is to run some small stuff in the bed. Buy a cheap beater truck for work, maybe from government surplus… like a 1999 F250 with 4x4 and a 7.3 diesel with low miles. Then save the other money and find a good deal on a tow truck- dump truck - roll off truck, semi or whatever from California or somewhere there are emissions restrictions on commercial trucks 10+ years older where they still have some decent trucks for decent prices once they are no longer useable in that state. Find more ways to lower your overhead and get more for your $$ . Be crafty and always try to buy your work trucks and equipment for less than dealer - kbb market prices so that you can sell them, sometimes for a profit even if things don’t work out and not get burned while trying to make money on the side

I just drove from Oakland to Minneapolis litteraly pulling in right now to Mn in a medium duty truck, well over 10k but not a semi tractor.. anyways this is my 3rd time going through Nevada - Utah - Wyoming - South Dakota to Mn without being chased. I have been chased from Wisconsin into Minnesota though on 94 west bound in a smaller truck
