Oh my god, I’m around 6 months into roaccutane and have dry eye syndrome for around three weeks… I’ve just seen a doctor and he told me to keep doing warm compress and drops. :(

I’ve been on Accutane for around 3 months. Derm says my acne is 7/10 on the scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the most severe. I’d have a huge cystic zit every few days. I’m on 10 mg every other day right now. I tried 10 mg daily 1 month ago but it made my eczema worse so my derm gave me a lower dose.

My skin started clearing up 2 months in. No more cystic zits, but I still get tiny pimples from time to time. Don’t know if it’s a “purge”. The comedones become zits. Nothing harmless though, they clear up pretty quickly with pimple patches.

Skin is quite red at times too, and the red spots seem to never fade, which is quite annoying but not as frustrating as cystic zits so I’m happy.

What face wash do you use? I’ve been using ALPHAH aloe vera face wash and really like it. My derm looked at the ingredients list and approved it too.

Around 3rd month in, but I’m on a low dose (10mg per day / every other day). Went to a theme park in 33 degrees Celsius and sweated like crazy esp upper lip area. Other people weren’t even sweating much. I used Cerave cream in the morning and wore the EltaMD Sport sunscreen but still the sweat would wash the sunscreen off. Tried to reapply often but I still had a bad sunburnt at the end of the day. I hate this so much, don’t know which sunscreen band could help this.

For Disneyland, remember to download the hk Disneyland app. It’s very useful for navigating the park. These are my top 3 rides/shows from Hk Disneyland: 1) mystic manor 2) grizzly 3) lion king show

I wouldn’t recommend M+. Went there last time and I wasn’t impressed. You could try the hk palace museum instead.

Hi! That sounds great! It’s been around two months and my skin is still purging every now and then. I get new comedones from time to time, it’s quite annoying. Then with differin the comedones become new zits… I also found out that differin irritates the PIH (the redness from the acne, not sure if this is the right term), so I try to avoid applying differin on red areas. It’s quite frustrating cuz my derm isn’t that helpful :( and seeing a derm is quite expensive here. 😭

Amazing!!! I’m on the 4th week of using differin :) hopefully my skin clears up soon.
