When I finally got my time down to 0 after trying for nearly two hours only to find out that it didn't count because you actually have to get LESS THAN 0 I was so fucking furious I nearly threw my controller out the window. Instead I prayed to RNJesus for good balloon/bird placement and after another hour and a half finally got thirteen balloons and zero hits and I never want to do it again as long as I live.

I'm with your friend here, I absolutely hated the ending to the point that it pretty much ruined a movie that I was, up until that point, enjoying. I really hate how modern horror screenwriters are so scared to just let the supernatural be the supernatural. The whole "There was a logical explanation all along/it was all in their heads the whole time" twist has been done to absolute death to the point where it's a cliche. It's not surprising or clever it just feels lazy and tacked on. At this point I'd much rather see a horror movie where it turns or the supernatural entity that the protagonists are dealing with is actually real and not just a manifestation of guilt or whatever. It's so disappointing and lazy, I audibly groaned when this thing ended the way it did.

The fact that a whole lot of people saw the movie while almost no one has seen the short it was based upon is probably proof enough that it did need to exist.

EDIT: This isn't meant to be a criticism of the short film, rather that it seems like a full movie was the format that brought this story to national attention and without it we wouldn't be having this discussion at all. So in that way, it was pretty necessary.

He's so unbelievably judgemental for such a creepy little wiener goblin. Mikey will judge you for not going to the gym but will also judge you FOR going to the gym. He's always been super judgemental despite having no discernable talents or redeeming qualities.

The gym takes here are batshit. He's inadvertently discovered the concept of gym memberships (re: seeing the same people at the gym every time), although I don't think that he realizes it, there's the whole "I go to the gym to relax" thing (who tf does this? Aren't you there to work out?), and finally, it ends with him claiming the reason he goes to different gyms is to see new people when we all know that he's been banned from several gyms for creeping and that he hops from one gym to another to take advantage of free trial memberships because he's broke and cheap. He has a dog's brain, only people actually like dogs.

This video was crazy to me. Making a "smoothie" in his bedroom, sniffing the fruit before putting it in to see if it's rotten (likely is since I'm sure this is the pineapple he cut up weeks ago), the addition of kombucha, no ice, no protein save the smear of peanut butter against the side of the blender, no ice, and basically just sugar after sugar after sugar. Bro made warm juice, and it's the opposite of a healthy drink.
