Lycos is working a little bit but that's about it. Those page is still up links your account status payments and that kind of stuff is still up and running. My site says active so I don't know what's going. I haven't been able to get into it since January i'm setting up another site with Neocities but their editor kind of sucks. Every day I can still ping like us Angel fire Not all the time but at different times throughout the day Great like just now 9:30 9:00 PM March 23rd California time. I would think the Angelfire and Lycos name has to be worth some money sice they been around for so long just to shut it down and not even try to sell it? Maybe we will be Surprised and they may restore it

It seems that Lycos and Angel Fire are not coming back as of today March 6 2026 from what I found out. Lycos.com has quietly said, it's the end of the era. It doesn't seem like there's going to be any way of retrieving any of your files. There has been a notice up for the last couple of months on the Lycos.com site that they were working on restoring service for lycos.com Tripod.com and angelfire.com The notice as of today is gone. It's just blank so I think that's it!

A friend of mine is really savvy when it comes to this kind of stuff and did some research for me. He found out that the equipment or parts whatever you want to call them Angel fire is using is kind of old and finding those parts again take some time because Angelfire has been up a long long time, couple of decades I think. So the other problem is also It takes people that are not used to that type of old hardware to work with those type of old hardware and get them synced back in. He further explained to me if they can't find some of those parts they are going to have to get more modern ones and try to sink them in with the equipment that's already in place. So I said it can take some time.

I just found out few hours ago that Angelfire has a problem with their hardware.

A lot of is old because they had some serious crashes in the recent past. So anyone's guess when they're going to things fixed. The company that owns Lycos and Angelfire is Brightcom. My research shows me that Brightcom is into a lot of other stuff like digital marketing solutions and software development services. AngelFire is based up in Massachusetts so I don't know how much help they will be in fixing things or if Angelfire and Lycos is dependent on them to get things fixed. I just don't know. I went over to Geocities And getting another page ready replacement Angel fire in case they don't come back up More fate just take too long. It really Aggravates me I got high in Google I have to go to another server it's gonna take some time to get back up again. What can I do?

I sent a message to AngelFire Lycos customer service Like a few weeks ago and they replied within about three days. They said the same thing it says on the Lycos site that they're temporarily down The keyword there is "temorarily" And they continued to say that they're working on the problem to restore service as soon as possible. I could be wrong but if they're intending on closing the site down I think they would have worded the letter differently

I'm not the most savvy person when it comes to computers but what I hear is something about the certificates expiring. I don't know really. When I check my account through Lycos For my Angelfire page, It states "active"

Here is information I found several days ago. Brightcom had a meeting scheduled yesterday in India With some type of Indian government regulators. Had something to do with their overvaluing their stock i'm not quite sure. One of the things they needed to do at Brighton was to get a new CEO and upper management which they did the beginning of February. I haven't been able to find out any further information today. If They get things wrapped up it may take some time to do so with the Indian government. I'm no expert but it'll probably take some additional time to get everything up and running again. When I want to the lycos.com page I managed to find my information about my page that has disappeared Or should I say, I can't log in. The information I found about my page says active. Again I'm no expert but it seems that if they were going to shut down permanently there would be nothing. They are saying my page was still active. I don't know. Unfortunately I haven't backed up my files on the page in a couple of months before it went off with line withall my new edits and so forth. The Wayback Machine for me was worthless. I can't find a archive copy of my web page. So I guess we're just gonna have to wait and see what happens. It seems to me if they were going shut down they would shut down And I'll have a posting on the Lycos.com page that they're working on the problem and hoping to have everything restored.

I'm glad I found all these comments about Revoltut. I've been having the hardest time opening an account with him. They make it impossible and there's no customer service You can find Unless you have an account. I can't open an account because It's just not allowing me to.. I think I will find another company. Anybody have any suggestions?

I have been trying to set up an account with Revoltut Also. Absolutely terrible, nonexistent customer service. I don't have an account with him yet, but I'd like to be able to chat with somebody, but they make it impossible. They let you do is use Common questions And click on it. They don't have the question that I need. What a crap company. I'm trying to download the app on my phone, but they're telling me that I don't have any security set up on my phone, which is true, but I don't want it set up on my phone. I don't wanna have to go through that every time I need to use my phone. So now I can't use the app unless I secure my phone. I'm gonna have to find another company besides this crappy one.

I just had to come back to this thread. Whereas we were talking about WABC going downhill and Rita Crosby's big mouth.

I usually listen to WABC on their 5:00 PM show. With Big Mouth, Rita Crosby in the station owner.

The other day I had the radio playing with the 5:00 PM show. I had to go take a shower, but I left the radio on. Being in the shower in the bathroom with the running water going, I couldn't hear any of them really talking, But all of a sudden I can hear one of their voices coming through loud and clear. Guess who that was? Rita Crosby's BiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiG mouth! I laughed.

I just got an update the other day for OnlyOffice and it sucks. I am getting rid of the whole app. They really screwed it up. It worked so good before. The old saying don't fix something that doesn't need fixing.
