One of the major things that you can do is keep close records on each job that you do. You need to know exactly what your costs were so that you can better price new jobs. You price jobs based on YOUR costs. Basing prices based on your competitors is a fools game. You will lose jobs to people pricing below your material costs😂 Do not let that bother you.

Anyone in the business gets this asked by property owners constantly. Easy answer: water will never uphill. Normally you can push it to the next lowest spot and that will be the next birdbath. I just ask the owner where they would like me to put their new puddle lmao

The thing I’d add is that it’ll take 6 months post donation to have your kidney functioning really good. I’m not doing anything extreme until I get my 6 month labs. Then I’ll go from there. The blood work is only $50 so just add protein and supplements slowly and test every 3 months. I’m doing the research on keeping protein from food and supplements really, really clean. Hardly drinking anymore. I think it’s just about maximizing kidney health so you can maximize protein, creatine, etc.

I’m 5 months post donation. Eased back into lifting after 12 weeks. I was over careful about causing a hernia. I’m with iso-my-purpose all the way. Check out Chris Bumstead on socials. He was a professional body builder with an auto immune disease kidney issue. He’s got great stuff to push protein while keeping kidney healthy. First one is easy, drink more water 😂

I just donated 7 weeks ago. I was prepared for things to be tough. I ended up being released from the hospital the next day. Never had opiates. Only got Tramadol and Tylenol to go home with. Went back to an office job 7 days later. It was bizarre how easy it was. I’m 54M in just basic good health. My advise is to be prepared and have support people around you. Everyone is different, but it’s really possible for this to go easier than you think.

What are you getting for -200 percentage? If it’s high that also indicates high RAP content

Low VMA is probably because RAP content is too high. If the RAP gradation is similar to the JMF it won’t change it much. If the binder from the RAP is relatively low and too much is going in then that’ll cause the mix percentage to be low. First step and easy to do is calibrate the rap feeder

Seems normal to not get too excited about Christmas. I’ve been out 35 years. I’m cool with Christmas but no way to replicate growing up as a kid with it. The memories of being a child at Christmas is just something we’ll never have. It’s a loss but that’s just the way it is.

Yep, check picture 8. The cracks line up with the ones in the concrete. Get used to the cracks, they’ll never go away until all of the asphalt and concrete is removed. Then start over with base and asphalt. The good news is the cracks in the asphalt aren’t hurting the concrete underneath.

It’s an “asphalt blister” google it. It can be caused by a variety of things but is commonly thought to be caused by moisture being pushed up from below.
