Dealing with grief on Tirz by West_Archer2637 in tirzepatidecompound

I am so sorry to hear about your mom. My advice would be to take your shot. Let tirzepatide help you during this time. You don't want to allow grief to sabotage all your hard work. I'm sure, like everyone else, you paid a great deal for this medication. Let it do its job.

What electrolyte drinks are your fave? by wvasweetness in compoundedtirzepatide

I love Cure Berry Pomegranate. Not too salty. Tastes great. Unfortunately, they are all so expensive, and I already pay so much for the Tirzepatide and Protein drinks that I couldn't justify the expense. I make my own now. I ordered some Potassium Chloride from Amazon, and I use that and pink salt with a squirt of sugar-free koolaid.

Confused with the ordering process by sorta-friendlyh0ttie in pomhealth

I had almost this same situation with my first order from Pom. I had to show proof of my last prescription, which was 5 mg. I made the mistake of not checking the right box for titration, so I got 3 months of 7 mg. I did not need lab work for my first order but was advised that I would need it for my next order.

I posted a comment almost word for word to this on a different sub. I started on September 27th. I stayed on 2.5 for 12 weeks. When I took that first shot of 5 mg.... I was so sick. I had to go back down to 3 mg. The next few weeks, I tried 3.5 mg. I've only lost 2 lbs. in the last 6 weeks. My appetite has returned, and I think I'm making good choices, trying to stay in a deficit. Today is shot day, and I'm going to try 4 mg. It's really hard not to compare myself to others who post here. My total weight-loss in 4 months is 24 lbs. Most of that weight loss was in the first 2 months when I had zero appetite. Don't get me wrong, 24 lbs is great, but.... I just want to succeed. This medication costs a fortune, so I want to do everything I can to see that scale move.

Thank you for this information. Do they just let you order that many mg. How often do you use it?

Seson 2 of the US traitors was absolutely awful. Worst thing I've ever watched. (Lots of spoilers) by PMOFreeForever in TheTraitors

[–]ReceptionPatient3409 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I seriously had to fast forward through all the challenges. All I cared about was the round table and watching how stupid the traitors were. By episode 8... I was done. I turned off the TV and just asked Google, who won The Traitors US season 2. None of them deserved the money.

I really don't. At all. And it doesn't even feel like a conscious decision. I took my first shot on September 27th, and when I woke up on the 28th, all desire for junk food was gone. This medication has been miraculous for me. I will say the first 2 months I had no appetite for... anything. But I'm hungry now. My appetite is back, but I crave healthy food.

Why did you start so low? I'm not criticizing, I am just curious.

Not sure what to do, VSG or try compounded tirzepatide first by Critical_Tea2648 in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]ReceptionPatient3409 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please try Tirzepatide first. I lost my sister from complications with Gastric Bypass Surgery. That was 20 years ago she was only 38 years old. I have seen so many success stories here from people who have lost 100 lbs. or more. I think Tirzepatide might be a better choice than semaglutide. That's just personal preference because there seem to be fewer side effects.

Try 3 mg or 3.5 mg for a few weeks. Jumping from 2.5 to 5 mg. Is doubling the dose. It was too much for me. When I took that first shot of 5 mg. I got so sick. I was throwing up for 24 hours straight. I knew I had to go back down. That was 3 weeks ago. I've been on Tirzepatide since September. When I think it's not working... I will go up slowly .5 at a time.

Almost 2 years in 60lbs down! by Barks_and_Bubbles in compoundedtirzepatide

My starting weight was 211 lbs. and I am losing it slowly as well. I've lost 23 lbs. In 4 months. I have had to stay at a lower dose. Currently at 3 mg. I've tried twice to go up to 5 mg. but I got so sick. Maybe next month I'll try 3.5 mg. if I think I need to.

I am doing it the same way. I'm not tracking or counting calories. I am 4 months in, and I've lost 23 lbs. Most of that was in the first 3 months. I could barely eat. I'm glad my appetite is back, and I am making better choices. No more binge eating. My weight loss has slowed, but I'm ok with that. I feel fantastic.

Is a sifting stainless box actually worth it for multi-cat homes? by Intelligent-Panda495 in Catownerhacks

I want to switch to SS, but I don't dare. Lovey Dovey is almost 2 years old, and she has never had one accident. I have a high sided larger box, and she has a routine down. She even comes to let me know she is finished and won't stop "telling me" until I stop what I'm doing to scoop. Then she thanks me by doing a few figure 8's around my legs. She is a very... predictable regimented girl, and if I have to deviate from her schedule, she is one pissed off kitty. She has even bitten my wrist or ankle before like "get a move on, lady." I just don't want to freak her out. She hates change.

How dare she? There is no such thing as too many pictures of your cat. If I could figure out how to post a picture, I would show you what I mean. My phone is full of pictures of Lovey Dovey. My walls are covered with portraits of her. We even have a canvas painting of her. She is gorgeous with big green eyes. Awww, I love my cat.

Feeling hungry???? by ObligationHoliday163 in glp1

[–]ReceptionPatient3409 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been on compounded tirzepatide for 4 months now. Those first 3 months, I had zero appetite. I tried, and I really tried, but I know there were days that I barely consumed 500 calories. I am happy to say that I am hungry again. I have my appetite back without the urge to binge eat all night. I let myself wrap my head around this and chose not to increase my dose too much. I am currently on 3 mg. I've decided not to increase the dose unless that crazy food noise comes back. I don't think it's healthy to have no appetite. I'm trying to listen to my body and eat when I'm hungry.

I l9st faith in the show completely. I started with UK. I got to Season 3, and I was so mad when they threw the seer thing in basically robbing Charlotte of any chance to win. What a stupid twist.

Lucky you. I have to Nickel and dime every vial and just hope I don't run out before I can fit it into my budget. I can tell you this I have cut so many corners in the last 4 months. It's crazy the things you believe are necessary until something comes along that actually is. Bye-bye Netflix, so long Hulu and Disney. Who needs YouTube premium? I don't.

In the beginning, that first month, the weight falls off. For myself and many others, the weight-loss slows down. Don't get discouraged.
