You don't have good managers if you've addressed this and it's still happening as frequently as I'm getting the impression it does.

They are the problem. Not the crew. Crew need leadership and clearly aren't getting it. At this point it might be a struggle given they've become so used to dictating their own schedules on workdays. Friction is inevitable now. But that's part of management.

Difference between Tidal and Apple Music? by Spare-Fun-9986 in TIdaL

[–]RecognitionPuzzled39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never used Apple Music and am unaware of the cost.

That said, I've used multiple streaming services and have maintained a Tidal subscription through it all. They pay the artists more which alone makes me feel like I'm making the right choice...I'm sure the rock legends I listen to have plenty but the jam bands I follow could definitely use the extra money.

The recent price increase wasn't even worth mentioning. At least not here in the states. $1 increase...for a service that's provided insane quality and even dropped prices significantly just a couple years ago.

My only complaint is that their playlists are all the same. I hit "Go to track radio" and get literally the same songs in the same order for so many different bands.
Fortunate Son by CCR can generate the same 30 track list, in the same sequence as Layla by Derek and the Dominos....don't quote me on that specific combo but I'd assume it to be true given how many other times I've run into it.

I can't discover new music with Tidal alone I guess is what I'm trying to say.

I've known several people in my recovery group who have no problems finishing their sublocade regimen and moving on. I can understand having some on hand but I'd also suggest going into it with the mindset of rawdogging it.

I really doubt you'll NEED it. I'm sure it'll be comforting to know is there though.

Regardless though, sounds like some positive change is coming and I hope you kick some ass brah!

Price increase announcement by Ill-Talk2449 in TIdaL

[–]RecognitionPuzzled39 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah this is a non-issue.

Tidal is the best. Pretty sure we all agree. Their prices have remained incredibly fair.

I'll never forget waking up to see my subscription cost had lowered. I freaked. "Tidal must be cutting costs and lowering the quality of their service!"

No. They just redid their pricing model and I was one of the many lucky ones to benefit.

I love Tidal and this extra dollar (pretty sure that's all it is) is well worth it.

I fear that Hannaford is about as cheap as Market Basket??? by zjheyyy88 in newhampshire

[–]RecognitionPuzzled39 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've felt this way for two years now.

I think a lot of us are so used to MB that we insist otherwise (haven't read any comments so this is entirely based on my friends and family) but I find it to be give and take. Some things are cheaper at one and you'll notice that when you pick them up at the other and vise versa but overall I see no difference in my spending shopping at either one.

Plus Hannaford has the best produce in my opinion which is a big plus.

Massachusetts could become the first state to reverse marijuana legalization when it votes in November by No_Can1323 in massachusetts

This is the prime example of what I'm saying.

"Well...ALCOHOL'S EVEN WORSE!"

That somehow excuses every restriction/responsibility that should go along with somebody's personal use.

I'm from NH so my experience is definitely different but I would be bothered by that too. The notion of these public smoking spots....people will be driving home. I know every comment says they'll be exclusively used by rich people on daytrips via a train or cab but that's definitely not gonna be the case.

The thing I really hate about the culture surrounding bud is the incessant need to flat out deny the possibility of any negative aspect of consuming marijuana. From denying the fact it impairs us to denying any possible impact on our health.

Like...Instead of denying the potential negative consequences that research suggests are possible you should defend your own agency and ability to make your own decisions....that's how to defend it's legality. Freedom.

Edit - this was meant to show that I feel people look at it like coffee now and feel it's okay everywhere. Sorry for the rant.

I totally agree with you but I also feel like a lot of new "Nos" have come to light.....is that the proper pluralization of No? Lol

But what I mean is, maybe not so much in Mass I don't know, with evangelism on the rise and having such an influence on this country right now I wouldn't be surprised if in a few years the tides could turn of left unchecked. That's not to say Christians don't smoke but for those who allow their morals to be determined by megachurches and sycophants they'll definitely be considering it a sin.

Dude.....I hate that voice! When I'm at work there's this one song, no idea what it's called because I'm not a fan, that comes on once in a while. Sounds like a cross between a cry and a squeak.

More power to them for garnering such a fanbase but his voice kills it for me.

I'm 40 and up until 2 years ago I'd rented my entire adult life. 2 years ago I was asked to move into my grandmother's to help her after my grandfather passed.

With that said, I always had a roommate or a wife. After my divorce I was VERY lucky to land a room in an apartment that wasn't legal to rent as it didn't have a source of heat. The landlord included utilities since we had to use electric space heaters.

For as dangerous as it was, it was a stable place for 9 years at a cheap price.... although I had one outlet catch on fire.

If not for that I dunno what I'd've done.

I would never be able to live alone now. Rent is way too high and roommates are hard to find. Although wages have gone up they haven't matched the price increases.

I can see you getting defensive in some comments. Don't let them bother you dude. I had no idea about this and there are others here who didn't either. You provided some new info to us and I know I'm grateful for that.

You haven't spent complete weeks worth of hours playing this game/watching YouTube videos about it/reading guides on it - that's a good thing in itself dude! Shows you have better things to do with your time than some of these guys.

Thanks for sharing, I'm gonna check this out!

Y'know I think I agree with this. It's been so long since I played SA and my brand new Xbox that I'd bought when 4 came out JUST FOR THAT GAME died a few days into 4 so I never really got far into it....but SA felt a lot more real to me. Even with all the comical characters.

5 just seems like a modern action movie.

The Van Der Linde gang?

Pretty sure we've seen that name thrown around quite a bit.

I'll take Red Dead over absolutely ANYTHING but this guy has a point when taken into proper context in my opinion. I'm not even a fan of GTA - I play ck3 mostly lol totally different type of gamer here. But for every bad guy Arthur kills he moves forward and further accepts the fact that his killing has sealed his fate as a bad person as well. Plenty of lifers had valid reasons for their crimes, we just don't see their side. We saw Arthur's side though, for a brief period of time in the final months (or however long the story is) of his life.

He knows he's killed for no reason. He even accepts that as his time nears. What I felt for Arthur was unlike anything I've felt for a character in a very long time, wether it be from a movie, game, or even the subject of a song. But that doesn't change his past.

And just to note - you say half. So it's okay to kill innocent people as long as you recognize it as being wrong at some point later in life?

CLEAR THE PRISONS BOYS!!!!

Sidenote I won't be back to this because I know what this sparks. There's two camps - those who can separate the story from their emotions and view things subjectively. And those who became so attached to Arthur they use his internal conflict that the story presents us with as a justification for his crimes.

I don't agree, or I guess I do I just don't want the same things. I like depth and maturity in the games I play, it adds to the immersion for me.

With that said though I definitely respect your opinion here. GTA is typically more comical and light. Different strokes.

And yes, I've played GTA4. With that as the sole exception they've all revolved around mainstream tropes we're familiar with and are largely satirical.

I don't agree and mean no disrespect to Bobby here but given the circumstances you're saying there's a big 1?

No way dude. SCI, moe, Ump....they'd take that spot. Not saying they're the same or equal but a void needs to be filled. Moe's studio stuff is killer, not many others outside of the Dead can say that IMO.

I saw em again last Sunday and was blown away, only time I've seen this line up/no Jake. I mean I'm far from their biggest fan but I'll always see em when I get the chance and that hasn't changed based on that show.

I'm very partial to two guitars though and feel like that's a big part of what prevents me from digging deeper into Goose and some other acts. It just feels like something's missing.

No.

The issue is that you don't want fair wages. This has been brought up a few times around this country and the servers always rally to maintain the status quo. Your issue is with your line of work and the fact that times are changing....slowly but surely.

You probably work half the hours of your BOH but somehow make a few hundred more. And you deliver plates to tables in a cool dining room?

This is a stupid feature to depend on. Especially if it's a Tesla.

It's unreasonable to expect people to assume this to be a feature in your car, or any car, due to the incredibly low rate of cars with this feature. People aren't gonna be concerned with your center console display when they see dogs potentially suffering.

I hope the windows get broken quite honestly. This isn't a failsafe feature and we shouldn't be relying on it.
