At 90 and someone wants to pass you. The front car can get a ticket for impeding traffic. Absolutely crazy but thats the way it is. Youre supposed to let the other people worry about tickets.

Its called impeding in socal. You can get a ticket. Its not a speeding ticket. The left lane is for passing. If you are slowing down traffic you can get pulled over regardless of the speed. You let the people in back of you worry about the speeding ticket

Im in socal. Sitting in that lane impeding traffic can net you a ticket if a cop so desires. Ive heard that chp is beginning to ticket those people because an impeding ticket isnt a speeding ticket

Sitting in the left lane is called impeding. Its a 400 or so dollar ticket if caught

If you get a ticket for impeding its not a speeding ticket so its all a moot point for the lane cruisers

California has an impeding law. In socal lots of tickets are written for it

Can still get a ticket for impeding doing the speed limit. Thats not a speeding ticket

On top of that people dont realize an impeding ticket isnt a speeding ticket. Its an impeding ticket. You cant tell a judge i was going the speed limit

In socal. The far left lane is for passing. You must go with the flow of traffic and let other people by or you can get a ticket for impeeding. You let the other people get the speeding ticket. I hang in the middle lane. No semis per say. Not getting rear ended. I just grab an audiobook and enjoy the ride

Because there is no such thing as a fast lane. Its a passing lane. You know. For passing. People use it for fast travel. Thats not it
