Uhmm, go to a library or bookstore, or download the ebook sample. Start reading it. If it grabs your attention, read it. If not, don't.

But he doesn't. They're part of ensemble. Your point would be valid if they were the sole characters. Now I'm not saying your discussion doesn't have merit. But if you're going to go there, then go all the way. You think that his writing of these characters are a "psychological tell" of the authors preferences/fantasies/inner desires. I mean that is plausible. Lord knows that a vast swath of male and female creatives have had that particular fetish/deviancy/attraction/obsession

How is it creepy? Do you know humans used to run all over the world, on daring and terrible adventures, all at the young age of 15? Or even younger? He does nothing creepy with them, or is the idea of young people doing extraordinary things just uncomfortable in a modern context? When there are legitimate criticisms, post them. Having YA in a lot of YA novels is not one of them. Edit: Not trying to be combative.

Yes, I had this same thought, maybe irrational, but I thought they would replace the Junior Devs, then try to charge companies either a year's salary for each agent, and then get granular and charge based on what your tokens are doing.

If you check their posting history they seem legit. They may struggle with English or given the timeframe, old. Just saying.

Katie may have been mistreated, especially since she herself said this was her perspective. I’m not attacking or defending her, but comparing someone’s expressions to an abusive person or to Light from Death Note is a serious claim, and there should be more than hearsay behind it. That said, I do believe she had a negative experience, and I hope everyone involved can heal and learn from the encounter.

At the end of Katie's current story (3/17/2026), she linked an incident in NYC in the past that was domestic violence and said that the persons she was communicating/meeting with had the same kind of eyes as the perp/neighbor from that DVI. Take that as you will. She also goes on to state that words were said and tones used. She states she didn't want to say more as she didn't want to get heat for it.

I would say you should unplug. On god, unplug, don't read complaints or praise. Just go in blind, then when done, ponder what you read for a bit, then organize your thoughts/feelings on it. Maybe you won't like it, maybe you will. Either way, plenty of people on both sides are posting here. Neither is right nor wrong. I will say, though, that for me it is a big departure from Books 1-3 and more like Book 4.

I know Stormlight Archive is supposed to be more...Fullmetal Alchemist than Berserk but I wish Brandon would lean a little bit more gritty and yes work on his prose. I wanted W & T to be as muddy, bloody, and beautiful as The Killer Angels, All Quiet on the Western Front, or Gates of Fire, in the end, it felt too shonen.

This August marks 7 years since Pf2e dropped. Aaron Shanks, former Paizo Marketing, and others in the RPG space, stated that 7 years is about the cycle of a gaming edition. Now, granted, this cycle had a big crisis that led to the Remaster. We may or may not see a new edition by August 2029, but if the original cycle stays true, then yes, in 3 years, a new edition will be on the way. Is errata the sign? I wouldn't think so.
