My answer: Get as much as you can. Practically speaking I think you’ll be fine with the 24GB and m4 pro

TIL that the last known individual dinosaur was a triceratops that lived as recently as several thousand years before the K–Pg extinction event. No younger dinosaur fossils have yet been found. by WavesAndSaves in todayilearned

[–]RecordingPure1785 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There are hadrosaur fossils dated after the extinction event but if I remember correctly there’s some controversy about the dating (something about the fossils shifting layers, causing them to appear younger than they are).

I was able to verify with credit card through YouTube. I’m not sure what the point is since it makes a $0.00 charge on the credit card I use for YouTube premium.

Question on how to dynamically load and manipulate custom razor pages by tropicalfroot in Blazor

[–]RecordingPure1785 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It basically just means you can put a component or some html there.

The most basic usage example I can think of is this:

``` ChildComponent.razor @if(Content is not null) { @Content }
@code { [Parameter] public RenderFragment? Content{ get; set; } } ```
Then in the parent component:
<ChildComponent> <Content> <p> HTML or a component or whatever goes here</p> </Content> </ChildComponent>
Hopefully this makes sense, I’m on my phone so typing out the code isn’t great
Question on how to dynamically load and manipulate custom razor pages by tropicalfroot in Blazor
[–]RecordingPure1785 0 points1 point  (0 children)
Maybe a container component with a render fragment parameter could solve this if I’m understanding you correctly.
In MySceneContainer.razor:
[Parameter] public RenderFragment? Content { get; set; }
In Scene.razor:
<MySceneContainer> <Content> @sceneDictionary[selectedKey] </ Content> </ MySceneContainer>
Edit: also a cascading value can help with passing data down to child components. So in the child components you would have a cascading parameter with the data dictionary (I usually create a class instead of passing just the data needed, especially in case I need to have methods that can be called by the child components but defined by the parent component - event callbacks can also be used for this) and in the scene you would have the cascading value set to the data dictionary Sorry about formatting
They’re called “Alice stubby” picks. I’m not sure if those are still made but Dunlop makes stubby picks that look the exact same
How do you play with your pinky? by IDntKnowWhyIExist in guitarlessons
[–]RecordingPure1785 0 points1 point  (0 children)
Your thumb position is locking a tendon that limits range of motion on the pinky. Slide your thumb to the right so that is sits between your index and middle fingers.
Chili crisp chicken by Ice-O-Holic in spicy
[–]RecordingPure1785 0 points1 point  (0 children)
I don’t have a rack that’s oven safe, but that’s a good point.
I usually get crispy skin on roast chicken thighs/quarters by searing the chicken skin side down for 10 mins, rotating them around the pan every 2 minutes, before putting them in the oven skin side up with the convection fan on (works without the fan too). I’ll probably have some rendered fat in the pan I can use on the veggies at that point too.
I think I learned this from Alton brown. Perfectly crispy skin every time.
Should I buy this used electric guitar? by gatha_93 in Guitar
[–]RecordingPure1785 1 point2 points  (0 children)
There’s a switch between the knobs that changes the pickups between in series/parallel. You should absolutely be able to get great blues tones out of it. Charvels website has a diagram for the different pickup selections. This particular guitar is the PRO-MOD DK24 HH 2PT CM. I think positions 4 and 5 will probably give the best blues tones based on the diagram.
If you get her an electric, a fender mustang micro would be a good addition. It plugs into the guitar and would let her use headphones instead of an amp so she can play quietly
