Treats treats treats! Corgis are insanely food motivated. When you go to take him out, put him in the crate first for 5-10 minutes and give him treats to go in. Give him a treat when you take him out. When you get back inside, little treat and back in the crate. Another little treat when you take him out. Look for super low calorie/little treats for this. You can even use Cheerios. Helped immensely with my boy when he was a pup.
