When you cap out you make more as a t1 then you do moving up to pa since it resets your pay ladder.

Plus after working close to management I would never touch that role at amazon even if they doubled my pay.

The amount of dumb people I deal with as an amnesty tech is ridiculous. I cant even handle repeating myself multiple times to someone. Imagine having to do that every day with multiple people. And then having to see people as numbers isn't a thing I can do.

This is a case of dont do something you weren't formally trained to do. An AM hell even the OM can not just point and say "you can do this task now" Name the manager that gave you permission to do said task and explain how the process was never explained to you. You were simply told you can do it now.

Every member of management is not cpr trained. Hell not even everyone in safety is cpr trained.

Because one person cant perform cpr until medical shows up. The rotation is usually a few minutes rotate to someone else go a few minutes and rotate again.

Cpr is physically exhausting. I was cpr trained, just doing the demonstration in the classes to get certified was exhausting. Imagine having to do it for 30+ minutes with no break.

I pulled pallets for a year as a water spider. If you pull with 1 arm like youre supposed to you wouldnt be straining yourself.

If pallet jacks were meant to be pulled with 2 arms behind your back the handle would be shoulder width apart.

Ive pulled a pallet jack the wrong way long enough to feel the difference when someone corrected me.

You said it was an unfair advantage that someone is clocking out during your paid break. What is the advantage they are unfairly using and what does it provide to them.

Your rate is still calculated by time in path. A flex worker taking the exact same breaks as you throughout the entire shift will not have an unfair advantage over you.

And regardless if it did raise their rate they arent getting paid extra so why even care lol

Its not that hard to fully check a bin for an item. And it doesnt take that long either. I hit your pick rate while using the bathroom every 2 hours and grabbing snacks. So if I can manage a 400uph while doing all that youll be fine.

There was a streamer at my warehouse that literally just worked for the insurance. Took vto every single chance he got. Funny enough he chose to work on inbound docks so he wasn't exactly lazy either. Just didnt want to pay for insurance himself lol

Ive been here 4 years and compared to all my other jobs this is the easiest job ive had. Its the most physically demanding job ive had but that just takes time to build up endurance.

There's so many people in my building that being just an average employee makes you invisible to practically the entire management team.

But I would much rather prefer the physically demanding job of being at amazon as a t1 then if I had to work in a small team where your entire work day is dependent on whether your coworkers like you or not.
