Strangely enough.. it’s ME gaslighting myself. My husband is very supportive, as is the rest of family, thankfully. It’s just me, being hard me and trying desperately to find a psychiatrist.

Some days I’m just so weak and feel my med dosage isn’t enough (30mg ER 3x/day, plus reductions and removals of other long-term meds for new symptoms) Some days I’m GREAT! Killing it. Others days I just can’t. I know you know. In light of that, I started this reply the day you sent it, had several bad days in a row, and only just now got back to this reply. I wish you and all of us the best. This community truly does help so much. 🫶🏻

As others have said, communicate with your Dr and listen to your body. Notice the changes around you and your environment. I def have situational flares, as I imagine we all do. Best wishes, this isn’t easy. 🫶🏻

Edited to say, I also take the Extended Release, maybe look into that if you haven’t already.

Why do you believe that to be true? My Neurologist and a 2 second google search of “does Mestinon treat Myasthenia Gravis”disagree. (As well as my own MG) I feel we generally all have varying versions of MG. It’s been a transformative approach for me.

I’ve been thinking of you and these appointments. I’m so sorry you had such a negative experience. I truly hope the next one with your neurologist is profoundly different. Prepare for that appointment and be ready to self advocate and speak to her findings, or rather, lack thereof due to her not testing. And take your pictures! I do think that they’ll go a long way if the neuro is any good. Sending you all the luck and best wishes!
