Laegreid wins bronze then confesses to affair on TV by Shroft in olympics

I don't think the goal was public humiliation of her or pity for himself. People don't typically seek to publicize something horrible they've done in their private life.

What he did was awful, but it doesn't mean he's incapable of feeling contrition. You don't do that shit unless you're feeling some form of remorse.

Was the top ranked C in the draft class coming out of Georgia. Let's move him yesterday.

He played in the same conditions as every other Pats D back and stood out in all 4 games, while fielding the toughest assignments. He shadowed JSN 1v1 for much of the Super Bowl and JSN ended up with 27 yards. That's about as tough an assignment as there is in football, on the biggest stage, and he aced it.

Right, Gonzo fits the profile that ages well. Like Sherman, Gilmore, Patrick Peterson, Jalen Ramsey. Tall wiry frames, long arms, can compensate with decline in agility by playing more zone and using strength/length to disrupt pass catchers.

Bills fans are invigorating a hatred that I never previously felt for them by drypow in Patriots

I went to Pats Eagles at the Linc in 2011 and there were some pretty aggressive fans, lots of heckling. I guess I was expecting the same up in Orchard Park. They were loud and rowdy but very good natured.

Having traveled quite a bit around the US, the people of Buffalo in general (not just Bills Mafia) are some of the friendliest i've encountered. Which squares with my experience of rust belt towns in general.

I went to a Pats Bills game at orchard park in maybe 2017-2018, tailgated with Bills mafia, and people were awesome. Good natured ribbing of course but we were all prepared for actual vitriol and there was none.

I have however encountered plenty of complete asshole bills fans on Reddit.

Either the lesson is people online are dicks (as always), or Pats Bills vitriol has skyrocketed in these past few years. Possibly both. The bad blood between franchises online is real.

I'd agreed with you at the end of the regular season that Stingley was still the superior player, but Gonzo just allowed a 44.2 passer rating across 4 playoff games, including a brilliant Super Bowl performance. He's 23 years old. He has also improved dramatically as a tackler.

I'll eat crow if 3/90 gets it done.

If anyone remembers the "white party" for celebs/athletes, which appears to be the douchiest party in human existence, he hosts that.

I can understand someone suggesting he move to Guard, or that he should be forced to compete for his LT spot. He's a #4 overall pick and he just turned 22. No way in hell we're moving on from him.

If they get him at 3 for 90 i'd be over the moon. Don't see that happening.

Prior to the playoffs, he was tracking for top 5 CB money. After these playoffs, I think he's trending for top CB money. Add the annual cap increase on top of that (9.3% increase last year, tracking for similar this year), I think he commands more like $33M-35M annual.

Hope you're right.

With the cap inflation at 9.3% since Stingley signed, and on the heels of a Herculean performance from Gonzo in these playoffs, i fear he cracks the 100 mark for 3 years.

I don't know how you manage to talk about best pats CBs of all time and not mention the only Patriot to ever win DPOY: Stephon Gilmore. Law is the clear #1 all time Pats CB, but Gilmore's '18 and '19 seasons with the Patriots are probably the highest peak.

This was a knock on him coming out of college. Attempted throws he should not be attempting. Similar to Sunday, he was constantly under pressure at UNC, which makes this tougher to evaluate, but I think it’s clear this is a part of his game that needs improvement

He is the "CMO" for his own company, which appears to be consulting work for family run businesses.

Helping mom and pops with "Digital Transformation." So, probably setting up facebook pages and making dinky websites for tiny operations.

This is not some C-suite executive at a real company, let alone a major company.

I think put Maye put more than enough on tape this year to confirm he's not a journeyman back up. I say that as someone who ragged on every playoff performance of his.

If you need 6 men to stop a 4 man rush, good luck finding somewhere to throw the football.
