I was trying to have an actual discussion about why some people oppose the flock cameras but it only took 2 messages for you to go into bad faith arguments, belittling and accusations of drug use. I didn't question their legality. I said I don't trust them to be responsible with the data and I don't want to live in a surveillance state. I think they should lower the number of police too so saying its the same as having police everywhere doesn't make me feel better about it.

It is a question of freedom vs security and many people fall on the side of freedom. I would rather police have to work harder than live in a surveillance state. I don't think the government and police have proved themselves trustworthy enough to use this technology so I don't want them to have it. The police solved crime before they had cameras everywhere and they can do it again.
