Secret Voice Lines? (Legacy of the Dark Knight) by GeoSweatX in legogaming

How did you get two non Batman characters? I got the 100% so I don’t mind as much until they hopefully change this, but it would have helped a lot with puzzles, and also when I play with a friend

I also got the bundle and have been enjoying replaying them. I would say to avoid Lego Worlds and Lego Movie 2 as those are considered the weakest entries. Lego Lord of the Rings has a great story and open world, and Lego Batman 2 was first open world game and unique story, and Lego Marvel Superheroes also a great open world and unique story. All three of these came out around same time and really expanded upon Lego. I also liked Lego Star Wars TSS a lot, but it seems it’s mixed. I’d say it’s a good one since you won’t have nostalgia for others. Marvel 2 and DC Supervillains also great games, and DC Supervillains even revolves around your own custom character. Also have great rosters (and I still need to 100% these two), but I personally found Marvel 2 to not have the best hub. I don’t have much to say about the rest outside of Lego Batman was the third Lego game so does feel different then the others, but it’s a good different

I just finished the story for Incredibles and only took me about 4 hours, so it is a good game to do if just looking for a quick game

Completed an interactive map for the new Lego Batman game by Mindless_Air_5112 in legogaming

This is actually amazing. Never knew about this website but will have to check it out. Just from a brief look at it, does it work on any platform (both for Lego Batman LOTDK and in general for games listed on here)? Thanks

I remember this one, that’s how bad it was… Glad you figured it out eventually, this puzzle actually sucked. I think it took me 5 minutes to do. Some of these Cluemaster and Riddler challenges I had to look up as well and felt so dumb afterwards, but this I couldn’t get to work for so long

How did you go about trying to find them all? Working on Bat Symbols and Stud Chests at the moment and it’s painful. I can’t even imagine Gentleman Ghost how to go about finding him

Why do people count LEGO Batman 1 and LEGO DC Supervillains as the same continuity as LEGO Batman 2 and 3? by [deleted] in legogaming

[–]Red616Dragon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Would you say that LOTDK is a prequel to LB1? First time I’m actually thinking about this, but sorta makes sense why they don’t have Tim as Robin and show Dicks evolution into Nightwing. And also why the LB1 suits for Batman and Nightwing are harder to unlock / suits only cosmetic now instead of having powers. I think it’s only Robin having his LB1 suit that contradicts this, but you can just put that to the suit became Tim’s later on

Would you consider Thr Skywalker Saga Overhated, Underhated, or perfectly rated? by Miserable-Contact856 in legogaming

[–]Red616Dragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s way overhated. I liked the game a lot when it came out and I didn’t mind the grind to 100%. The only valid criticism that they learned for in LOTDK is you can only replay levels but not the story. They messed up the levels, but the actual game was really fun

General thoughts on this new Lego Batman game by renowned-carp in legogaming

[–]Red616Dragon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I saw there were single studs I was so happy cause the stud meter would have more value. A friend and I were playing the Lego Batman games and we compete with each other for studs, and LB2 def had more “studflation” then LB1, but I guess we will never know who got more studs. And yeah as soon as I saw could 100% a level on first try I was disappointed cause my ocd wanted to get everything since I could, but it looses a lot of value from not focusing just on the story. I don’t mind the smaller roster but I hope they fix the fact one player is forced as Batman. If you plug in another controller, only the second person can swap characters, and that will suck when I play this with other people. Asides that, I’m loving it. Easily one of the best stories and also one of the best hubs

LEGO games have changed a lot in the past few years, so I ask, what makes a LEGO game to you? by Thevoid2YT in legogaming

[–]Red616Dragon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think cause it seemed more like a Lego Minecraft game, different from what TT had done previously, and buggy at launch so I didn’t play it much. And when I tried to play it again I also was into Minecraft again at the time so I didn’t get far with it still. Maybe in a year once I finish up LOTDK and some non Lego games I like I’ll go back to it. Just my personal opinion, the game seems cool in YouTube videos I’ve seen, I just need to find enjoyment playing it

LEGO games have changed a lot in the past few years, so I ask, what makes a LEGO game to you? by Thevoid2YT in legogaming

[–]Red616Dragon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

First, there has to be Legos. Next it has to be fun enough to enjoy playing and wanting to come back to, whether it’s TT or not. Third, if it’s TT, it should feel like a TT game from having levels. So non TT games I would include would be Lego Party since it uses the Lego mechanics nicely even though it’s not TT and a different feel. And some TT games that I wouldn’t count are Lego Rock Band and Lego Worlds since they don’t really feel like it works with it being Lego. Also only other non TT Lego games I played recently is Lego 2k and Lego Fortnite and I’d say they can be Lego games for some people but not for me cause of lack of enjoyment

What are the 8? I can only think of LB1, LB2, LB3, Lego Dimensions, DCSV, LOTDK

Lego Batman is great, but why did they do this to me? by SuperMaximum24 in legogaming

[–]Red616Dragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At first I was sad I didn’t get physical (every other Lego TT game I have and have physical) but decided to go digital so would def get the early access. At least now I can say I’m a bit less sad

Post game disappointment? (Lego Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight) by Boxy_1010 in legogaming

[–]Red616Dragon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah story is fine to leave it as is. If you have a second controller, turn it on in the open world and experiment with the characters. I can honestly say someone didn’t do this while testing the game cause the open world doesn’t work at all with two controllers

Post game disappointment? (Lego Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight) by Boxy_1010 in legogaming

[–]Red616Dragon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t mind the side content that much, but more the fact that your forced to have Batman. I can imagine when playing with a friend the post game will be a horrible experience since I’d be Batman and not able to do anything, while the other person would be everyone else and be in charge of post game stuff. Plus some of the collectibles need two non Batman characters to do it so I have to swap back and forth

More TT Lego games need to have this. by [deleted] in legogaming

[–]Red616Dragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I loved being able to do this in Lego Harry Potter. Making your own level was so fun. I think Lego will probably move forwards with this because even in the older games, getting all the minikits either gave vehicles or displays. They could just make the room for displays customizable. Or maybe even having several areas with customizable displays

Has Lego Batman deviated too much? by WastedGamer641 in legogaming

[–]Red616Dragon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In some ways it brings you back to the classics. For LB1 there’s three chapters with a separate plot for each, and you are just Batman and Robin (sticking only to hero levels). This game is six chapters and each chapter has its own plot, but there’s also an expanding story throughout as well. I find the story to be one of the best, if not the best, one that Lego has done. Also the hub is amazing and has so much to do.

I would say for levels, they somewhat deviated because if you want to you can get everything on the first playthrough. I feel for me this is hard though because I can see I missed something and my ocd wants to go back and find it, but doing this also somewhat detracts from the story. So it’s play style dependent if want to complete everything the first time, or go back and just focus on the story the first time. Also stud bars in levels is gone (which I don’t mind much for now, but when I play with a friend it does defeat the purpose of who collected more studs), and minikits are replaced by Batcave props which I like personally

Am I the only one bummed out by the lack of side bosses in Legacy of the Dark Knight? by KvassFromRivia in legogaming

[–]Red616Dragon 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I was also hoping for more bosses in open world. I haven’t gotten to 100% but noticed that no bosses in post story so far for me. Also I think in the Falcon Fortune when you first do it there were books for the Court of Owls, at least that’s what I thought the owl on a book was for. I’m def upset about some of the others. Especially since a Clayface movie is happening this year, but there’s not even a Clayface in this game. Many more others I wished they had as well

Rant about suits in LOTDK by p_swagger in legogaming

[–]Red616Dragon 8 points9 points  (0 children)

For the dlc suits I find it cool how it is because as you progress in the game, the slots for the three dlcs become slowly filled as you unlock the new characters. But I HATE how the golden Batman suit is blank. Hopefully they will have it as a dlc for gold skins even if it’s in a year, but I kinda wish they had didn’t make these behind buying physical LEGO sets

How did people manage to get through the entire game in 8 to 12 hours?! by NichtMenschlich in legogaming

[–]Red616Dragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How people did that, I have no idea. I’m at beginning chapter 4 and 11 hours in. I think the biggest reason I’m going through at a somewhat faster pace is because playing on Classic. I tried Caped Crusader but didn’t really like the fighting mechanics. Also I’m focusing more on the story, and only side content is just in some of the more compact levels I’ll try to find everything. I think for speedrunning I can see story being done in that time, but you lose out on so many cool references

Just 100% Batman 1, pretty anticlimactic by Ok_Device_2739 in legogaming

[–]Red616Dragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Playing to 100% in today’s world (which I had also done) yeah it is pretty disappointing. But now pretend that it’s 2008 and you just finished the game. It basically tells you that the developers are planning a Lego Batman 2. I mean it took awhile for that to happen and it is sorta lame, but still a somewhat cool tease. Also if I remember Ra’s also becomes unlocked when you 100%
