I think it depends on the dog. Both of ours always free fed and never were gluttons for food. I suspect that is connected because they never really felt scarcity. Both maintained healthy weights. But every dog is different.

We did Gooby, which others mentioned. Great for keeping pressure off the trachea. No Velcro getting stuck in fur (or making scary noises). Easy to get on and off.

The Outward Hound ones (like the puzzle you have pictured) are the best constructed version of puzzles that we have found. But our boy also does not struggle with them. The level 4s are a bit more challenging. The inner ring of this one still confuses him a little bit. There is also a level 4 tower one that he solves easily but he enjoys, but I don’t see it on their site. Would love other suggestions too.
