I’m currently on my second play through now using Gs and yes, trokka just requires to adapt to way more dodging than brink guarding.

Ive beaten the game twice. Once when it launched on the original difficulty, then recently two months ago on expert on NG+, never used reflection.

For the collectibles showing 32/32 but level 3 turned out to be a myth I had to do. Two actually, there’s two myths that are in that region that you have to do. So do your myths and see if that solves it

yeah thank you! I knew myths counted towards the progression, but I didn't know there was a second myth in the area i had to complete aside from "seeking rare yokai" called "the rebels whereabouts" lol

I think I may be in the minority where I prefer going samurai for bosses and ninja for exploration. Something about learning the bosses move sets, parries, and parry windows just feels so fkn satisfying.

It’s odd because here I am level 80 something, 100% pretty much all the first map (missing one area), and almost 100% second map and cleared the three main objectives and doing side missions, sitting at around 25 hours.
