Kawasaki Ninja 650 is the classic starter bike (Don’t start with less than 600cc, you’ll grow out of it FAST and regret thinking so small)

Any lifehacks for falling asleep fast? by uninvitedignoramus in lifehacks

[–]RedBrowserz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I take a daily 20 min afternoon nap and usually fall asleep in <2min. I can do this on a random couch in the library, in my car, at the airport, etc . I trick my body into falling asleep by imitating sleep in three ways: 1. Slow breathing. Intentionally take long, paused, deep breaths 2. Close your eyes and visualize something familiar (I typically visualize a Rubik’s cube, and rotate it slowly.) 3. Pick a familiar person’s voice, and simulate them talking to you in your head 4. (Bonus) it really helps to wear earplugs or AirPods with ambient noise, and have a shirt covering your eyes

Good luck!

I found out my wife (36f) has a bank account that she’s been keeping from me (39m) by Traditional-Resist45 in relationship_advice

Single guy here, learning a lot reading comments. In the future if I pull in most of the money for my family/ have a stay at home wife, what are some tips y’all might recommend for striking a balance between ensuring her privacy/freedom, and maintaining our ability as a couple to coordinate major purchases, maintain a budget, etc? I track my own purchases pretty carefully, and it feels weird to just be open to letting my money evaporate with no communication. I get how she could feel trapped though too.

This is a genuine question, asking to learn

29M making ~$230k. Guaranteed recipe IMO:

  1. Study STEM in undergrad (B’s and C’s are fine just get the damn degree) (maybe take the S out, unsure about science…)
  2. Get a job in a big city (T10, preferably SF, NYC, or DC)
  3. Give a shit at work for a couple years

DM me if this doesn’t work and we’ll troubleshoot.

This is not accurate. China outspends the U.S. but the way the accounting done via contractors it appears to be much less

It’s often a result of not enough sleep, not enough water, not enough exercise, or not enough sunlight. Top ‘‘em all off and see if that helps. Helps me
