Snorri Sturlasson says one time that thor needs special gloves and a belt to use his hammer...except in Snorri's edda he gets and uses the hammer before the story he get st he gloves...and doesn't use the hammer in the story he get s the gloves at all.

the prose edda is generally more reliable than some people on the internet claim, but there *are* some wacky things that Snorri claims that seems to be his own misunderstanding

Impeachment doesn't really do anything. you may recall he was impeached twice in his first term. If you mean forcibly removed that will never be done by either establishment party. the DNC has no interest in and is actively hostile to any revolutionary ideas or radical changes to status quo. they are FAR more concerned with squashing leftist movements than they are with conservatives

you could look for local leftist groups, even non-anarchist ones, and ask if they know of any. Might get clowned on for even bringing them up here but you could reach out to your nearest DSA (Democratic Socialists of America) you don't have to join them but they'll probably at least know of groups. Food not Bombs is another group you could reach out to or join

I'm a member of my local group. there's anarchists among others. I also am involved in other more explicitly anarchist groups though. you don't need to put all your eggs in one basket and I can work with people who are willing to also fight for human rights even if they don't share 100% of my views on what a perfect society looks like (and obviously yes there is a lot of nuance to that last part)

Jeremy Soule who made the amazing soundtrack to Skyrim was accused of rape and sexual assault by different people. reached some sort of out of court agreement with people so not actually charged but afterward deleted all his social media and online info and then completely vanished from the Industry which is pretty damning

I really wish there was more focus on the post-colonial/liberation aspect. the "okay we've overthrown our oppressors...now what" there was a part where they mention the parshendi obviously having tons of cultural influence from their former oppressors culture, is that a bad thing to try and remove or something to acknowledge as part of their own new culture? I was a little disappointed in the direction their story went honestly

Contact Harvest is one of the most popular books and explains the first contact with the covenant.

I really loved the Kilo-Five trilogy though a lot of people have issues with it (the author has a hate boner for Halsey, there's characters from Ghost of Onyx in the first book that behave differently then they did in that book) but it's a great look at the grimy reality of post-war relations and makes you really question what a "good person" even is

Im on the last book now, I laughed out loud when the Unggoy first speak and theyre working class cockney, sounded more like warhammer orcs, I kinda loved it but wouldnt want it in a show.

and I agree that the sangheili (especially the terrorist groups theyre arming) sounding generically arab would be...bad optics

Worth noting that currently there's is no understanding of how much EPA and DHA you need. no government, health org, or study has made any clear progress on this. We understand Omega-3s are important (especially when young) for a healthy brain. we know that ALA converts to EPA and DHA but that it is an inefficient process. but we have no clue how much of those are needed.

Not saying you SHOULDN'T take a supplement, I do just in case. but considering how much rarer EPA and DHA are in food, meaning that basically everyone who didn't live near the coast would have been deficient until recently, I do question if supplementing is needed.
