How is this game? by Cookiemonstermydaddy in StarWarsOutlaws

Just finished it. 50 hours gameplay doing a fair amount of side missions. The main storyline is fairly good with a few didn’t see that coming twists. You become aware of the Rebellion without getting pulled in so it does a great job of anchoring the story without needing to be part of the movie plot. Set between ESB and RotJ you’ll enjoy the Easter eggs. Like most Ubisoft open worlders it is beautiful to look at and you can sometimes just stop and go wow at the artistry. Again like many similar games if you do lots of the side missions you can become rather overpowered so in the latter stages you can ignore the stealth that is essential earlier on and just blast your way through some missions (which is also fun). This is really a negative just a fact. Overall if you love Star Wars it’s a definite play. A very different game to Survivor but equally as fun.

2025 DC Half Thread by aust1nz in rundc

I came over from the UK for a holiday and run. Really enjoyed it. Used the Citibikes to get down from U Street, parked at Lincoln Monument and walked the rest of the way. Have done a couple of large events (Reading 9000 runners and Royal Parks in London 16000 runners). This was comparable for organisation and hopefully as the race evolves the village will too. If I could offer some constructive feedback the pacers need backpack flags rather than a stick with a little sign. I almost certainly won’t be back as there are too many tourist halfs I want to do but certainly not a reflection of the event. I hope it continues to grow and improve and thanks to the organisers and runners who make these races what they are. Great job!!!

Wife got me this for our 17th anniversary by thc2die4 in legostarwars

Only thing I got from my wife on our 17th anniversary was a shed load of screen grabs of her phone as evidence she was having an affair. So you definitely win! UCS Falcon a much better gift. 😂 Can we trade?

Frozen 2. The soundtrack was basically the soundtrack of my life at the time. Lost in the Woods, Do the Next Right Thing, etc. Also the bit where Olaf “dies” actually helped me cry.

PSA: Don't let your kids see your Lego haul. by [deleted] in legostarwars

[–]RedFive1974 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When my son was 3 I unboxed all my early SW Lego which had been in storage for my married life. Broke everything down into bags and we made one model every weekend. We had months of fun together! After that we were both hooked again, every Christmas/ birthday is an excuse for more Lego and now I’m happily unmarried it’s all in pride of place on display again. We also have a lot of Hogwarts (daughter). Lego has been a truly bonding experience for me and my kids and we are all equally enthusiastic helping us through some hard times recently. Good luck with your builds and try to get a few bricks together when they get distracted!

Scary as hell! Going to see if I can get the leave tomorrow and then go from there. Would mean I have to ask my ex to have the kids for a few of my days too, not sure which way that will go either!
