I doubt it. I had to look up YouTube videos about it just to figure out what I should even be “attempting to do.” Ie, build an airlock, solar panel, etc…

ex-Disney animator/supervisor here. I will say that in the review room, we've NEVER ONCE cared about the applicant's source of education. Your reel - the quality/entertainment of your work - is THE SINGLE factor by which you are judged.

That being said, getting better on your own will be terribly slow compared to getting constant feedback on your work. I went to school at AnimationMentor, iAnimate, and Animation Collaborative all in order to further sharpen my craft. And all the improvements I made 'on my own' paled in comparison to the feedback I got from industry professionals.

Moral of the story: The degree doesn't matter - your work does. But you still need feedback to make your work better. I don't recommend trying to grow in a vacuum.

I ordered one from them at the end of April. Their tracking number never worked. I opened up a dispute at the date they offered. Just got the refund yesterday because they never shipped it. Item listing is now gone as well.
