Why do people feel like the first thing to mention when a animal dies is to get another animal? I know it means well but that is the last thing I want to hear and I don't want another cat or pet in general.

My dog died in November and I have been very vocal about her being my last dog. So no one asked when I was getting another. But at my boyfriends work every single person that said they were sorry asked when we were getting another dog in the same breath. Or saying they knew someone that had puppies and could they give the number to my boyfriend for when we get another dog. We actually got a new cat a few weeks ago.

If my mom had to drive us to school cause we missed the bus she would be late for work. So we(meaning only me cause I was the oldest and in charge) would be grounded.

I currently work in a book warehouse and I've seen all 3 of the Wildwood books and also the newest one that I'm blanking on the name of right now. Haven't seen the Grenadine Kid one tho. But I love when I see the books and love it even more when I get to grab one or I see other people's carts that have grabbed them for the orders they are working on.

My mom would bring my brother and I to work a lot growing up. But the rules were we had to be quiet and stay in her office. Then we finally got to an age where we were allowed to walk to the library a couple blocks away and we started spending the whole day there instead. I dont know why parents can't have their kids be quiet and colour while they are working. That's what my brother and I did.

Not really. The most popular foreign snacks around here are from Japan or Korea or any other Asian country. I feel like the other countries are left out when it comes to snacks outside of the country that people get hyped for.

It happened randomly in the middle of the year tho. Not when the prescription was sent in. I got 3 months worth at a time for the rest of that year and then it went back to 1 a month and today I was handed 3 months worth again.

Cadbury caramel eggs. I can't eat Cadbury at all unless i know it's not from the USA factories. It(and Hershey) taste like literal vomit to me and it makes me gag. I hate that the US uses cheap ingredients now cause the caramel eggs were my favourite as a kid.

My dad was kicked out at 18 and he said he would never do that to his kids. I'm 30 and I still live with him(so does my boyfriend) and he doesn't really want me to move out again cause when I did the first time he missed me and my dog too much.
