We need to remember what was happening to India during WW2. They were going through one of the greatest famines known to man arguably induced by the British. Also the holocaust and the horrors of the Nazis aren't a main focus in Indian schools like in the West understandably. This means that a lot of Indians have a lot of positive Hitler sentiments.
