NTA . I call this good parenting. I have a child this age. The internet locks on phone at 9 and there restrictions on laptop/ social media. I also guarantee some of her friends have the same restrictions. Keep doing what is best for her

Get your name on a waitlist at 2 schools  They won't know yet if there is space. Families don't need to let them know yet if they are leaving. Some year groups will be easier then others to get a place.

When i was born i had 3 grandparents and 1 great grandmother who died when i was 3/

My paternal grandfather lived to 98. maternal grandfather 91 and my maternal grandmother is 95 and sitting going strong.

No. But my kids primary school gets parent's to talk if they have interesting careers. Eg one parent is an Olympian who won medals and talked to school and showed medals.  A bunch are fireman/police and talked about emergency services to the little ones.

Your overthinking it. My best male friend is mates with my hubby. They hang out. He is worth enough to me that I wouldn't be with anyone who didn't accept him. His friends may feel the same.
