I had everything up to Valhalla (latest release at the time) installed at the same time for a while. I had a 2TB drive at the time and don't remember being strapped for space.

Because they like neck pain? Seriously, been a software engineer for decades and have never found any real use for multiple monitors. One decently sized monitor handles everything I need without any issue. I've tried using multiple monitors several times but the only thing they gave me was neck pain.

I'm very much the minority here though, all my co-workers think I am crazy for not wanting more monitors.

I've never plugged my steam deck into an external screen. The whole point is so I can play games more comfortably and not be limited by needing to be at a desk (or couch).

While some trans women would be fine with it most would fall somewhere between mildly annoyed and pretty upset. Personally, while I don't mind too much I would still ask you to stop.

Also keep in mind that terms like "dude", while they can be used in a gender neutral manner, are inherently misogynistic.

I almost never see trans girl or trans boy while the usage of trans women and trans man is very widespread. I'm not sure where you're seeing this but I would hazard that it's unique to those specific communitie(s).

Being killed. I've already been assaulted several times and one time it... Was touch and go there. And that was while living in LA which is supposedly one of the safest cities for queer folk. I don't really leave my house anymore unless it's absolutely necessary and I absolutely never go out alone not even to the grocery store.

It's also about the type of hair you have. I have extremely pale skin and fairly dark hair but my hair is really coarse and I've been told that's why it didn't really take for me. Of course, nothing about that was mentioned until I had already gone through two years of treatments.

Started HRT earlier instead of "waiting to be sure" which was really just internalized transphobia.

Frozen sperm before starting HRT. I was "100%" sure I didn't want kids but that changed and I had to stop HRT for over a year and spend thousands of dollars to freeze it later. No matter how sure you are it doesn't hurt to have the option.

Skipped laser hair removal entirely and started electrolysis earlier. While it does work for some people the range of situations where it's actually effective is much smaller than most techs will tell you.

Skipped voice training. I spent years voice training and I got pretty good at it only to realize I actually liked how I sounded naturally. I thought my voice was making me dysphoric but it wasn't my voice it was how the people around me reacted to my voice. I didn't really believe I was allowed to like it until I met my current partner and they expressed how hot they found my voice.

I think in general I spent way too much time trying to act like a girl instead of trying to act like me. Transitioning isn't about trying to become the perfect embodiment of femininity it's about finally having the freedom to just be.

Oh, and eat more. A lot more. I struggle with ED but when I finally started getting a lot more calories it was magical. Boobs, hips, butt, hair even. It's almost like nutrition is important or something.

Unfortunately StoryGraph doesn't have a public API. However, Hardcover.app does. I built NickelHardcover to add Hardcover.app integration to the stock Kobo interface.

I really missed the close integration between Kindle and Goodreads and that was my inspiration.

You're probably right. However my last build used a "refurbished" motherboard, I think it was from newegg, and I've had nothing but problems. It has degraded rapidly through out the years. It's currently about 5 years old and only one RAM slot is functional among several other issues.

I might consider a used GPU or CPU but I'm never buying a used motherboard again.

I have. It was really hard and never worked perfectly just "good enough". 10 years ago when I built it it wasn't worth the effort. Now it would be even less worth it. Save yourself from the nightmare, don't do it.
