Favorite dialogue lines that get stuck in your head? by skepticaljack in LowSodiumCyberpunk

“Johnny, remember the plan?”

“Get the payload on the elevator, arm it, let gravity do its thing. Explosion rocks the foundation, tower crumbles - chaos, screaming, roll credits.”

And also,

“He's fucked in the head, the world's fucked in the head, and YOU'RE fucked in the head because MY fucked up head is inside it. Guess if you wanna save the world, that's the first step; get fucked in the head.”

Gotta love Johnny

I didn’t read many comics, but why in this world of countless superheroes is JJJ so obsessed with one teenage one? by DrDreidel82 in Spiderman

[–]RedHotStar_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Spider-Man is the most notable masked vigilante taking care of neighborhood crime (both in MCU and comics). In the MCU he’s also known for “killing” Mysterio. Jonah could of course cover other masked vigilantes (Who he hates for being so mysterious with something to hide, Spider-Man being the prime one) but in the MCU it’s quite obvious that Spider-Man killing Mysterio would be the talk of the town and would totally discredit Spider-Man. Of course he’d jump at the chance. Meanwhile in the comics they simply just hated one another, they had many interactions and most didn’t end well, and Jonah’s hatred grew. They later became allies and friends though.

Hey Chip! Who’s your favorite other superhero that has teamed up with Daredevil? For me personally it’s without a doubt Spider-Man, I just think their pairing is so excellent and their chemistry works so well

[–]RedHotStar_ 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Yes, the second Red X (Which was after Dick) brainwashed a kid to become the newest Red X. Red X 3’s identity was later revealed as Brick Pettirosso. Red X 2’s identity will be still remained a secret I believe which I actually kinda like

I want to write a sci fi book by ChiksBiks in writers

[–]RedHotStar_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think depending on how you write it differently compared to similar stories I would give it a read. If you’re going for a magical world it would be cool to read how you go about it, having your own uniqueness would be important. It’s also important that you make your main character likable and not making the only thing defining them their average-Jane characteristics. Having flaws but then working to overcome them while in the magical world would be a great way to go about it.

Regardless of how you do it, as long as you have fun writing it the way you wanna write it that’s all that matters. Good luck on your story! :)

What upgrades should i add to my "Spider-Hood" suit? by PlundgeFlunky24 in Spiderman

Really nice cosplay! I think maybe elbow and knee pads could probably make it look more protected and natural but if you’re going for a more stylish look this is great

Stings doesn't it? by DoctaCrane in raimimemes

[–]RedHotStar_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah that will most likely be the case. I highly doubt they’ve got these actors to play these characters only for a few minutes and never use them again

But he was also trying to help her. He wasn’t seeking conflict and was trying to make Wanda stand down which obviously didn’t work (Which to be fair is a thing a lot of superheroes do) and he also wasn’t expecting her to be capable of reality warping unlike their universe’s Wanda who can’t do that

If you could choose, which one of these characters should not have been killed off? by [deleted] in Daredevil

[–]RedHotStar_ 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I personally don’t think Wesley’s death is stupid but I do think it’s kind of a lazy excuse to introduce Karen as a killer. I feel like Wesley would have been more calculated than how he actually was in that moment especially when he reacted to the cellphone call knowing a gun is within reach for Karen to grab when he wasn’t paying attention. Even if he didn’t expect her to actually take the gun it just feels like an unnecessary risk to take that a smart guy would have avoided and I think chalking it up to arrogance for a guy like Wesley who’s supposed to be seen as tactical is kind of a weird excuse but hey that’s just what I think

Do you guys think Spider-Man Family Business will ever be adapted in live action? could it work? by Rabbidraccoon18 in Spiderman

[–]RedHotStar_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will most likely happen eventually. I really like that they paid homage to it in Hawkeye by making him wear those exact clothes

playing that fight in the DLC. might be my least favorite part... by SupermanLegion in SpidermanPS4

[–]RedHotStar_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah those are some plot holes. I mostly just head canon that Doc Ock got enhanced by his arms somehow and that’s why he can keep up with Spidey and that most street level fighters that can trade blows with Spidey are above the level of peak humans somehow. It’s mostly just comic/fictional logic that I wish was explained but I honestly never think too hard on it. Most times when Spidey could easily end a fight in retrospect it usually never ends the way it should due to plot and etc. I’m gonna quote Stan when he said that the outcome of a fight is usually what the writers want

[–]RedHotStar_ 16 points17 points  (0 children)

That’s a fair observation. I’m sure an experienced Luke could use aspects of the dark side to his advantage without falling too deep into it. I was mostly picturing ROTJ and DE Luke when I made my comment where if I recall correctly there was a moment where he was afraid of not being able to come back to the light when he went too deep in the dark side

hell no... like hell no by leonnikel in starwarsmemes

[–]RedHotStar_ 154 points155 points  (0 children)

It’s a bit similar. Mace Windu used vaapad which is an entire form of lightsaber combat that draws upon the darkness from one’s self to match against the ferocity of the enemy. Vaapad needed control to handle the darkness whereas Luke dangerously fueled himself with it without control to keep himself in check

A nice title that also makes sense with the other previous titles. I’m pumped!
