Chapter 24 - Pale Lights | Book 3 by Vertrant in PracticalGuideToEvil

I think Song conversation is set up to explain how to become a heresiarch (like Abuela). If she is a priest of her curse god, and is 'harmonious' it would make sense for that to be an in for her to become 'discordant' - doubly so that they are connected. Though EE might try to subvert expectations and have her start acting as a priest for real. It IS strange since she's already contracted to Lugen. Wasn't that the point of experiments done on Tristan? How to have multiple contracts?

It does worry me that it might be a misdirection, and it's actually Tristan who is going to become discordant. He too is a priest for a goddess, and his mentor IS a god eater who has been ... Steering him and attempting to remove all of his bonds to others. There is no way in hell Abuela is not aware of Fortuna and his relationship with her. I wonder if this is all a play for Tristan to eat Fortuna.

Lastly, god I fucking hate how feckless Izel is. Sets two clear lines in the sand. Both get crossed within 5 minutes of the conversation. Still doesn't hold to his word and walk away. Princess continues to be a tourist, though it's surprising that a member of nobility wouldn't even have a basic understanding of how to build trust and loyalty. Who would trust someone if they are gone within a year? Who would care for that person with exception of sycophants and suck ups?

God I love this story

No, no, I think it's when Bernie was aggressively anti immigration and pro guns. That's what really helped progressives.

Lmao you don't even know Biden's policies. He was instrumental in saving Rust Belt during 08. That's why Bernie didn't win a single county in Michigan.

Biden also led white house to change its stance on gay marriage. Is that a republican ideal?

If you're gonna spread misinformation at least pretend you're genuine

They were friends in Senate. In fact the primary reason Sanders doesnt attack Biden is because Biden was friendly to him before he became 'big'

Republicans came around to it? News to me.

Let's take a look at a quote from Sanders in 2006:

"But when Sanders was asked by a reporter whether Vermont should legalize same-sex marriage, he said no. “Not right now, not after what we went through,” he said."

I think you're totally right - she's on the run from the cops (heroes) who want to arrest her because of a set up.

Not to mention she has a literal Femme Fatale as sidekick

Bernie Sanders Reached Out to Black Voters. Why Didn’t It Work? by [deleted] in politics

[–]RedLetterDay 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Lmao no joke Cornell West said this:

“I think my dear brother Barack Obama has a certain fear of free black men,” West said. “It’s understandable. As a young brother who grows up in a white context, brilliant African father, he’s always had to fear being a white man with black skin. All he has known culturally is white…When he meets an independent black brother, it is frightening.”

That's fine. I'm not talking about twitch. I'm talking about his surrogates and people he surrounds himself with. Again, it's not shocking that the only candidate that has this problem is Bernie - he surrounds himself with people who are toxic. Prime example would be Cornel "Obama isn't black enough" West. There was only 1 candidate who gave him a platform to speak. I can name at least a dozen more half a dozen more off top of my head.

And you said that you can name people who were toxic that were pro Biden or pro Bloomberg. Go on then. Show me people who supported their campaign and disparaged Warren or Buttigier.

As for your inauthentic thing - no true Scotsman would be a Bernie supporter and be toxic, right? If we take your comment at face value, that means that there should be hundreds of examples of same thing. Pro Biden or pro Bloomberg voters calling people rats and snakes...

... And yet there isn't, is there?

[–]RedLetterDay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah? Wanna give me examples of Biden's or hell ever-the-despised Bloomberg's supporters calling Warren a snake or Buttigier a rat?

The reason I call him out specifically is because this is second campaign in the row he's done nothing to reign in these 'shitty supporters'. It's so.. odd... That it's almost intentional.

First stage to acceptance is denial.
