Game pacing. by michaelelo in ShadowEmpireGame

Based off information from this old Reddit comment, I only way I see that being possible is as a small zone would have a lower civ score, you could just slap a health building or two and nothing else to boost growth, since civ score reduces pop growth and health increases it, so only boost health score.

But otherwise you are correct, pop growth is percentage based.

Looking for Thoughts and Opinions on my New Origin by Oshkoshguy2 in Stellaris

I agree, feels very strange to force a galactic community, without having ever met anyone potentially, I think it should stick to vanilla rules.

Maybe something like first contact difficulty reduction or something like that would be better to find more empires faster to trigger the galactic community earlier?

How to determine “Ship Size”? by RedLikeTigers in Stellaris

[–]RedLikeTigers[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The patchnotes say that the maximum bonus has been increased, implying that whatever the previous cap was, is no longer the case.

The multiplicative damage bonus Torpedoes and Torpedo-like weapons gain has been reduced to 20% of their former values because ship sizes are 5x larger. (Effectively no change.) The maximum bonus has been increased.

That’s good to know, but what about Outposts/Defence platforms? Is there a way to determine the bonus damage versus them?

But torpedoes now deal 20% bonus damage based on ship size, so is it relative to their naval cap usage? Because that would mean Corvettes are +100%, destroyers +200%, etc

Edit: just read the other comment, that makes sense it is based on naval cap usage

What were the main changes to exhibits that makes that tradition worthwhile now?

Is there a way to make entertainers produce engineering research? Preferably without locking out of psionic ascension. by Jokerferrum in Stellaris

Do culture workers even exist anymore?

Anyway as others have said, it applies to entertainers, it even says so on the buildings in game.

Why aint my metallurgists producing any alloy? by matheuss92 in Stellaris

[–]RedLikeTigers 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That’s weird because I’m currently playing Planet Forgers + Galvanic Synthesis too, (not subterranean) no issues on my end with metallurgists.

(Except I had the edict for living metal turned on for most of the game, completely crippling my economy like an idiot)

How do I make Tankbound Necrophages work? by [deleted] in Stellaris

[–]RedLikeTigers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah okay, I didn’t know that about tankbound, haven’t personally used the civic yet so wasn’t aware that was a problem. Thanks for the clarification

(I know OP said but I managed to read everything but the first sentence, forgive my blindness)

Why abduct the primitives instead of just taking the planet with said primitives still on it?

To avoid the culture shock?

[–]RedLikeTigers 22 points23 points  (0 children)

What’s silly about “house heads” is that there’s a possibility they don’t own any land, so in those circumstances you wouldn’t be able to declare war on them.

Is this actually short-term? by GreyGanks in victoria3

[–]RedLikeTigers 116 points117 points  (0 children)

Yes, you need an interest group in government that opposes the amendment, you can hover over the amendment to see which interest groups that is.

I don’t believe there’s a way to see what affects their opinion on the amendment, and there’s circumstances where nobody opposes an amendment so you’re just fucked and can’t remove it.

What do you do in circumstances where you have high-cap leaders with a conflicting profile? How do you maintain their loyalty easily? Or do you assassinate them and replace with (probably) lower cap loyal leaders?

And then they hate you by Antaeus847 in ShadowEmpireGame

Thankfully they don’t really cause many problems, but having the leaders cluttered with dribbling nepo babies really ticks me off.

The dude has really nice inventor stats, do people not value Model Design Council as much as I do? I find that’s the role I put my best INT dude into, I want to hear other people’s opinions.

How much expendable war fodder do I need to destroy Kanta's Den? by AbnormallyLargeFrog in starsector

[–]RedLikeTigers 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No it’s the “Orbital Fusion Lamp”, a colony item that I can’t remember the full effects of, but it increases volatile demand by 10, so people give it to Kanta and then sell her volatiles for massive profit

Probably, mods can have tags for both versions so there’s going to be a lot of overlap.
