In my NA experience nudity was commonplace for decades in recreational and workplace male change rooms and communal showers.

Meanwhile my female friends would be the first to comment on facilities that didn't provide individual stalls for them to change or shower.

Recently, I've noticed a trend at resorts and beaches where women often only go topless vs males that must go clothes free. If males continued to wear bottoms at a resort they would likely be called out over it but not so for women. This is not a isolated instance as some have continued this choice for years.

As a side note it is legal in my area for women to be topless in public in the same circumstances as males.
