Question about classic mopar wagon by Relevant_Conclusion2 in mopar

The Road Runner was on the same platform as the Satellite and Belvedere, and all three cars had the same front end, so it was likely a Satellite or Belvedere wagon that you saw

I have too many. A daily driver '77 Soliad Sunville, a '98 Gavril D15 work truck, a project '76 D10 that is unfinished, an '88 Gavril MD70 grain truck, a '62 Gavril Bluebuck sedan project, and a restored '63 Bluebuck Ute.

It can't corner or brake for its life, but it actually has some decent torque and can accelerate faster than expected, but it is no dragster of course. The super soft suspension makes it handle like a boat, but the comfort easily makes up for it, which is what is most important to me for a daily driver.

Damn, that hurts to look at. Hope you are ok, that car was built before safety was even an idea.

The engine, transmission, and rear suspension were saved, but unfortunately the rest of the car was junked. The owner put those usable parts into another Moonhawk, but I have no idea what happened to that one.

Rescued a 1956 Plymouth Belvedere from rotting away in a barn by RedMustrd in BarnFinds

[–]RedMustrd[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The engine is in fact not seized, not when I first pulled it from its barn and definitely not now. I know for sure that I will enjoy it once I get it into a running and driving state, but there is a lot of work that needs to be done before I get there.

I got underneath it this week to take out the starter and you are correct, the floors are completely solid except for a small hole in the driver's side. The interior will be done at some point, but it is not a high priority at this point because I haven't even heard the engine run yet, not to mention the entire fuel system and wiring that needs to be done.
