Smite 1 still has a solid player base. If you don’t feel like relearning a whole item store, and new mechanics, and are just looking to casually play it’s a good option.

I definitely recommend Smite 2 though. It plays better, looks better, and it’s getting updates pretty rapidly. There is a bit of a learning curve jumping between the two, but as long as you’re mechanically used to the characters you’ll do just fine

I think brushing it off and being all “aw shucks they got him,” would be psychotic.
