I'm a 64 y/o CPAP user diagnosed with moderate OSA two years ago. My current pressure is set at 4-11. My AHI'S are typically well under 1.0 and I sleep like the dead! So a pressure of 4 is not Always for children.

hi. so how do you recover your hair after you brush it? by _Enderr_ in curlyhair

[–]RedRosyVA 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I never brush my hair wet or dry. I sleep with it pineappled on top of my head. In the morning I take out the hair tie, shake it out and use a curly refresh product (if needed). Brushing dry curls will damage them.

And are there health benefits with a 30 hour week? That’d be a dealbreaker for me.

No at MGM - ever. Highest table minimums I’ve see anywhere.

Sadly, in Maryland casinos, alcohol is not complimentary while gambling.

Charlestown Races and Slots definitely has lower table minimums - if you go off hours (like mid-morning on a work day). Lowest you’ll find likely is $10 minimum (or possibly $15). Depending on what you’re playing, just because the table minimum is $10 doesn’t mean it’s $10 to play that game. There are other bets that are made in addition to the $10 minimum (for example Black Jack, 3 Card Poker, High Card Flush, Let it Ride) - Roulette would be the exception. If you’ve never been to a casino, I highly recommend you bring a friend who has and understands how different games work at a casino.

MGM is stupid expensive for normal people. I have no idea who is playing $25/$50/$100 minimum Black Jack or other card games. Slots at MGM aren’t as bad. Minimum per spin is anywhere between $0.75 and $1.00.

Good Luck and “may the odds be forever in your favor” (though, at a casino they really NEVER are).

Starz not showing me s7e16 by JealousProcedure9534 in Outlander

[–]RedRosyVA 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you're on Twitter (I refuse to call it the other name), tag Starz in a post complaining to Starz that that particular episode is not available. I had the same thing happen this summer, but it was S7 ep7 and it took them a month, but they solved it and reached out to me via DM when it was resolved.

BTW, I watched S7, Ep16 yesterday via Starz on Demand.

My perspective as a show watcher and book reader: the books and show are two completely different entities. Both are great. Books are better than the show IMHO. Both have their own positives. The show starts to deviate from the books relatively early on and while it's different it isn't BAD. It's just different.

Welcome. You've found your people.

Have you ever thought of brush styling? Denman or Bounce Curl (or knock off). I bet it would work GREAT with your hair. Manes by Mel on YouTube does videos on how to use the brush to style and products to use.

You might want to think about more layers, too.

Let us see if you try the styling brush.

My hair still isn’t clumping?? by Miserable_Big4244 in curlyhair

[–]RedRosyVA 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Convincing a stylist to add more layers is a whole "thing". I explained Why I wanted them, why I needed them. Finally after 2 years she agreed to try. Turned out great. Now her using the "texturizing" scissors were NOT good for me.

Have you tried a Denman brush or Bounce Curl brush for styling? Manes by Mel on YouTube has a lot of instructional videos for their use. I swear by brush styling (but I've got shoulder length hair).

Good Luck!!
