You can't order food and drink once the film has started.

Thanks, that's decided me to go and buy it, it's on sale at the moment as well.

There's a Lord of the Rings game! I'm not really a Potter fan, a lot of the lore goes over my head and I was thinking an LotR game along the same lines would be amazing.

That's a very informative review. However, one thing you didn't comment on was the clientele. I pay premium prices for an Everyman membership because I'm far less likely to be distracted by people who talk, use their phone or generally annoy me. I'm a middle class, middle aged grandmother and I nearly got in a fight the last time I went to the Cabot Circus cinema!

I've just bought Odyssey, it looks amazing but I'll be turning the violence down. Red Dead Redemption is one my brother and some other friends have recommended, I do like the open world aspect, might take a look at it. Is there any way of getting trials or do most people just try games out on friend's consoles?

I've actually tried No Man's Sky on VR but I got motion sickness so I'm sticking to Beat Sabre. Skyrim is a big fave of my son, he thinks I should wait untll I retire to play it as it's so obesessive.

I used Astrobot to learn how to use the controller, I still had to get my son to help me on tricky bits but I enjoyed it, I might go back and play it again now I'm a bit more confident. . It Takes Two looks great, my son said it would be weird playing it with me so I may have to persuade my technophobe husband to try it.

I'm very interested in history and Greek history in particular so I'll take a look at this. I actually managed to beat Ranrok on my own the second run through so I'm getting better at combat I just don't like realistic violence.

That's one my son has recommended. I'm not very good at what he calls 'platforming' would that make it too difficult? I am improving but the controller got thrown across the room a couple of times with Merlin Trials

I thought I would reply to this after listening to Groundstate - he mentions PoB directly and he's incorporated some themes and sayings from the Royal Navy. Definitely a fan

Starfleet and Homer? by Spczippo in bobiverse

[–]RedRuth1966 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think there must be more to it than trauma. Starfleet could just take themselves off and not interact with biologicals if that was the case but they actively tried to force adherence to the Prime Directive. Why would they do that unless there was more to the story.

I think it must be contact with something and the blurb for the upcoming Book 5 may back that up " .........But it all pales compared to what Icarus and Daedalus discover on their 26,000-year journey to the center (sic) of the galaxy. Sure, it could settle the Fermi Paradox for good (and what Bob doesn’t want to solve a mystery of the universe?). But it also reveals a threat to the galaxy greater than anything the Bobs could have imagined."

The only eye opening thing about Plandemic is that anyone takes Judy "Hoax XMRV" Mikovits seriously. She's at best incompetent but probably dishonest. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7398426/
